UK UK politics UKIP

Disgusting, totalitarian pigs.

This is what happens when a political elite evolves and wields unchallenged power, so much so, that it feels itself free to demonize its political opponents as unworthy citizens with the help of its bureaucracy that it feeds.

The US Tea Party has suffered much of the same, if not worse, being labeled all kinds of things, from racists to women haters etc. The media just salivates over these kinds of stories. What is interesting is that some of the traditional British media, like the BBC, has seen through this crap and has taken the Rotherham Borough Council to task for its gross actions against a foster couple who are also UKIP supporters.

Taking foster children from their care was a brazen political move, nothing more, nothing less, and it’s a decision that needs to be repealed quickly. This is really beyond the pale.

The wife added: ‘We felt like criminals. From having a baby in my arms, suddenly there was an empty cot.’

We were RIGHT to take foster children away from Ukip couple insists social workers as they blame party’s ‘extreme’ views for decision

  • Joyce Thacker, head of children’s services in Rotherham, defends decision to take three children away from Ukip member foster parents
  • Fears over Ukip’s views on multiculturalism main reason for decision
  • ‘Exemplary’ foster parents cared for three children from ethnic minorities
  • Staff from Rotherham council told couple that Ukip had ‘racist’ policies and their membership of it made them unsuitable carers
  • Couple left ‘bereft’ when the children were removed within a week
  • Education secretary says social workers at the council made ‘the wrong decision in the wrong way for the wrong reasons’

Responding to Mrs Thacker’s comments last night, the couple said: ‘Joyce Thacker referred to us not being able to meet the cultural needs of these children in the long term. We felt we were meeting their cultural needs.

‘We were encouraging them to speak their language and teach it to us. We enjoyed singing one of their folk songs in their language. We also took steps to ensure that a school of their religious denomination was found.’

The wife added: ‘We felt like criminals. From having a baby in my arms, suddenly there was an empty cot.’

She denied that there had been any discussion between the family and Rotherham Council before the children were removed.

The woman said the council feared the couple could not meet the children’s cultural needs in the long term – a claim the family denied.

It came after the decision was strongly condemned by Mr Gove, who said social workers had made ‘the wrong decision in the wrong way for the wrong reasons’ and said he would be personally investigating the matter.

Mr Gove, who heads the Government department responsible for children’s services and who was himself adopted as a child, accused Rotherham of sending out a ‘dreadful signal’.

  1. Well let us be thankful that the children have been removed from the influence of the amateur racists of UKIP, and can now be taken care of experienced professional race mongers/racists of the social services.

  2. This is just discusting. This council are a bunch of traitorous bullies, this reminds me of a story involving a couple involved with the EDL and dept of child services threatening to take their kids away from them. This is dictator state, 1984 politics. Get rid of your opposition by making them too scared to oppose you by threatening their families and job securety. This is just so so wrong it defies belief. We need this councils email address to bombard them with messages of discust.
