NO COMPULSION OF RELIGION IN ISLAM……?

Think again, here’s an abrogation excerpt from Steve Coughlin’s excellent series on sharia law. Vlad sent this to me during our regular morning exchanges where we punch in/out the time clock.

  1. I think theres even more to it than that. If you think about it, the “no compulsion” bit is even MORE malicious than compulsion. Rather than being compelled to be a muslim and have the same rights as other muslims, your allowed to retain your religion. Muhammad knew very well that forced converts would be seditious, and hard to handle (you know, sort of like moderate “western” muslims). Instead they’re forced to live as dhimmis and pay the jizya. No abrogation required, its completely consistant with the tenants of Islam as we see them practiced today.
