Finnish media The Finns



The Tundra Tabloids has been in favor of getting rid of YLE from the taxpayers pocket books for a long time. Regardless of the arguments for its originally needing to be a state funded enterprise,  it no longer needs to be. This is a welcome statement. KGS

NOTE: The media refuses to respect the name the Finns party has chosen for itself, they are still calling them the True Finns. Case in point.

Hirvisaari calls for abolition of public broadcaster

[…] James Hirvisaari called for the abolition of the Finnish Broadcasting Company (YLE).

In an interview with the Lahti-based newspaper Etelä-Suomen Sanomat, he referred to the public service broadcaster as an “ancient relic”.

Hirvisaari said that as long as YLE has the declared aim of promoting multiculturalism, something which he sees as brainwashing the Finnish people, he would not want to give the company any kind of support from state funding.
