TURKISH PM ERDOGAN THUMPS CHEST IN CAIRO, SAYS UNLESS ISRAEL APOLOGIZES WE WILL TAKE ACTION…….

Turkey is trying to create a new dynamic in the region, a neo-Ottoman empire, that will rival the US’s self interests, and still no credible call from the Obama administration to Turkey, telling it to cease and desist. KGS

Erdoğan given rapturous reception in Egypt

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan continued to make threats against Israel on his arrival in Cairo last night.

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan continued to make threats against Israel on his arrival in Cairo last night, resulting in a rapturous reception by the crowds. He was surrounded by Egyptian supporters after disembarking from his plane at the airport.

Using a prepared amplifier system, Erdoğan spoke to the crowd in Arabic, saying, “Salaam aleikum, Egypt and Turkey are one. Peace to the Egyptian people.”

Erdoğan was received by Egypt’s acting Prime Minister Essam Sharaf and his wife.

The welcoming crowd included many members of the Muslim Brotherhood, which supports Hamas. Supporters along the road into Cairo carried Erdoğan’s picture and shouted, “Egypt and Turkey will together become an Islamic Caliphate”, and “Erdoğan, who angers Israel will liberate Palestine like Saladin.”

Today, Erdoğan visited the grave of Egyptian President Anwar Sadat, who was assassinated in 1981 after signing the Peace Treaty with Israel two years earlier. Erdoğan is scheduled to meet Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces Mohammad Tantawi and other political leaders to discuss bilateral cooperation.

Speaking in Cairo, Erdoğan said, “Israel is taking irresponsible steps that harm international law. We reject Israeli excuses that apparently justify the Gaza blockade.”

He continued, “Unless Israel will apologize, compensate the victims and remove the Gaza blockade, we will impose sanctions and take other steps at the International Court in The Hague. The Palestinians have a just and legitimate right to proclaim independence. If Israel continues on its current line of behaviour, it will lose.”

  1. Saw something like that in the Dutch news too. The guy is crazy. Turkey out of the NATO, right now!

  2. Interesting that the Egyptians waved signs saying “Erdoğan, who angers Israel will liberate Palestine like Saladin.”
Since Salahadin was a Kurd, not a Turk.
Recep Erdoğan is PM of the nation that bombs Khurdish towns and villages, killing Khurds because they want yo secede from Turkey and establish their own homeland.
So, PM Erdoğan supports the establishment of a Palestinian state, while denying the same right to his Khurdish minority.
Surely, the logic confounds those who support democracy.
Especially when Egyptians, who broke away from the Turkish-Ottoman Empire earlier than her Arab neighbors to the East, now carry signs claiming Egypt and Turkey are one.
So much for the Arab Spring.

  3. This is reminiscent to the rhetoric in the Arab World, prior to Arab-Israel War in 1967, in which Israel kicked their butts in the – to this very day – unbeatable record of 6 days. Let the eschatologically orientated bearded jihadist scum try their luck. It wouldn’t the first time that Israel has had to, by herself, take on the forces of demonically possesssed Islamic prophet. The hypocritical World Community will as usual detach itself from the the evolving events and shy to the sidelines, from where it under the guise of impartiality, expects to witness the destruction of Israel.

However this inertia of detachment and supposed objective nonpartisanship, is but a scam. If, or soon as Israel starts to gain the upper hand or is about to deliver the decisive blow to its enemies, the lousy attitudinizing bigots of the World Community will, like clockwork, come to life and start to bleat about asymmetrical Warfare, Israel’s disproportionate responce and the need for an immediate ceasefire. This time around, I truly hope Israel finishes the job and tells the insipid anti-Semitic cretins at the UN, to take their human rights issues and shove them where the sun doesn’t shine.
