I’m not at all surprised. CTV reeks of political correctness at all times. The only news medium in Canada that even hints at accuracy is the newspaper, the National Post. The electronic media are a lost cause, as are most of the print media, in my opinion.
It’s the classical head in the sand. If we don’t acknowledge it, then it’s not really there. I would love to know how freedom of the press is taught in Canadian higher education, and for that matter American and European too. Leftist artists and journalists who courageously attack Christianity, considered avant garde, are in fact showing themselves to be very careful cowards.
