The Counterjihad’s calendar recognizes the courage of Ka’b ibn al-Ashraf, in his attempt to protect his people, the Jewish trube of the Banu Nadirand, from the war lord Mohamed and his murderous band of thieves. al-Ashraf was murdered by Mohamed’s followers, and deserves to be remembered as one of the most early of counterjihad activists. Ka’b ibn al-Ashraf كعب بن الاشرف (d. 624) as a chief of the Jew ish tribe of Banu Nadir and a poet, who was assassinated by an order of Muhammad . Ka’b ibn al-Ashraf was born to a Jewish mother from the Banu Nadir tribe and an Arab father, and he followed his mother’s religion.
According to Ibn Ishaq, Muhammad called upon his followers to kill Ka’b because the latter “had gone to Mecca after Badr and provoked Quraysh to fight the prophet. He also composed verses in which he bewailed the victims of Quraysh who had been killed at Badr. Shortly afterwards he returned to Medina and composed amatory verses of an insulting nature about the Muslim women.”
