There is no wonder why the Iranian regime considers sanctions, and talks of sanctions, as a joke. With Putin’s Russia helping to develop their nuclear industry and both the Chinese and Russians more than willing to quash any attempt by the UNSC to vote for harsher sanctions, the Iranians have the nuclear cat in the bag. And Obama is more than willing to allow it all to happen, while he divulges state secrets on how many nuclear weapons the US currently has in its arsenal. KGS
NEW YORK — After months of campaigning to avert new UN sanctions, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad summed up his case Tuesday and dismissed the threat of further economic penalties over his country’s nuclear program.
Experience has proven that sanctions cannot stop the Iranian nation,” Ahmadinejad told reporters at a hotel across from UN headquarters, where a month-long nuclear treaty conference was in its second day.
