Iran Iranian Riots Obama

IRANIAN REVOLT IN THE STREETS CONTINUES…….

QUOTE OF THE DAY:If (and that’s a big if) the Mullahs were overthrown would the protesters forgive Obama for his complete lack of support?….” Weasel Zippers

Bogus POTUS in action:

This guy has been out to lunch ever since he took office.
There are a number of different competing groups, with a completely different set of ideals, clashing with police in the streets of Iran. Some of the groups are favorable towards the west, while others are aligned with the corrupt Mullahs and Imams that are against the present government because their own power base is being threatened.
Either way, the US should be throwing its support behind the those groups that are for a decent and humane form of government, and want to join the 21st century. The Tundra Tabloids has personally met those kind of modern freedom loving Iranians, here in Scandinavia, that are not only pro-West, they are also pro-Israel and anti-Islam as well.
They can’t stand to bear the thought of another day passing with the midget monkey and Mullocracy still in power, they want change, but ZERO isn’t having it, because it doesn’t fit into his doctrine of appeasement. He would rather have the thugs he knows in power, than the freedom fighters he hasn’t a clue about. Obama is a complete immoral fool and an embarressment. KGS
TEHRAN, Iran (AP) – Iranian security forces beat protesters in central Tehran on Saturday, a sign of mounting tensions ahead of planned opposition rallies to mark a religious festival and the death of a dissident cleric a week ago, a reformist Web site said.

The Rah-e-Sabz site said forces, including the elite Revolutionary Guard and the paramilitary Basijis, used tear gas and pepper spray in an attempt to disperse demonstrators, and broke the windows of cars that were honking horns in protest.

It said protests occurred in at least three areas: Imam Hossein Square, Pol-e-Choobi and Ferdowsi Square.

The report could not be independently confirmed because the Iranian government has banned foreign media from covering opposition protests.

Iran is marking the first 10 days of the Islamic month of Moharram, a time of mourning rituals for a revered Shiite saint.

The period culminates Sunday with Ashoura – a day that coincides with the seventh day since the death of Iran’s most senior dissident cleric, Grand Ayatollah Hossein Ali Montazeri. More memorials and possible protests are expected.

The death on Sunday of the 87-year-old Montazeri, a sharp critic of Iran’s leaders, has given a new push to opposition protests, which have endured despite a heavy security crackdown since disputed presidential elections in June.
