The Finnish news is hyping up the accounts of the man being “teased due to his Muslim background”, but the above video news report tells a different story, the man may have been subjected to harsh exchanges, but that’s the nature of discourse that can be found on a military base. They were stated in the context of his outlandish political blurbs to the US news media at the base, that were highly critical of US policy.
USA Today WASHINGTON — The Army psychiatrist suspected of carrying a shooting rampage at Fort Hood, Texas, had come to the attention of authorities six months ago because of Internet postings that discussed suicide bombings and other threats, law enforcement officials said Thursday.
The postings appeared to have been made by Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, who was killed during the shootings at the Army post that left least 11 others dead and 31 wounded. The officials say they are still trying to confirm that he was the author. They said an official investigation was not opened.
The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the case.
One of the Web postings that authorities reviewed is a blog that equates suicide bombers with a soldier throwing himself on a grenade to save the lives of his comrades.
“To say that this soldier committed suicide is inappropriate. Its (sic) more appropriate to say he is a brave hero that sacrificed his life for a more noble cause,” said the Internet posting. “Scholars have paralled (sic) this to suicide bombers whose intention, by sacrificing their lives, is to help save Muslims by killing enemy soldiers.”

Again, that’s what the man tells us his daughter said, but no one else is saying that and we cannot confirm whether it’s true. He, himself a military veteran, says at first his daughter thought it was some sort of drill but quickly discovered it wasn’t.
Now here is the predictable spin by a relative of the Jihadi shooter, Nidal Malik Hasan:

Hasan was a lifelong Muslim and attended prayers regularly, often in his Army uniform, Khan said.
… At least six months ago, Hasan came to the attention of law enforcement officials because of Internet postings about suicide bombings and other threats, including posts that equated suicide bombers to soldiers who throw themselves on a grenade to save the lives of their comrades.
They had not determined for certain whether Hasan is the author of the posting, and a formal investigation had not been opened before the shooting, said law enforcement officials who spoke on condition.

The killing of the innocent people at Fort Hood confirms our suspicions about every Muslim living in Western institutions.
How come that Major Nidal A. Hassan was born, bred and educated in the United States, could develop Islamic fundamentalism to the extent of executing a jihadist mission in the USA?
Under Islamic fundamentalism, where every non-Muslim and moderate Muslim is a target, we live to die abruptly. A religion that causes insecurity to inclusive citizens residing in a territory is not a religion.
How can Muslims convince us that the Jihadists are not Muslims, while they shout a testifying slogan to Islam ‘No god except God of Muhammad the Messnger of God’? In series historical and current catastrophic events of Muslims against us justify to us that he was a messenger to kill us.
