Australian Government to Take Iranian Leader to Court……?

The Tundra Tabloids lifts its hat to the measure to try and bring the hate monger and promoter of genocide of Jews, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, before the International Court of Justice.

ABC: Prime Minister Kevin Rudd says the Federal Government is still getting legal advice on whether Australia could take Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to the International Court of Justice (ICJ).
Labor first flagged that it would try to take the Iranian leader to the ICJ last year.

This morning Mr Rudd told Sky News that Mr Ahmadinejad’s repeated comments about eliminating Israel were appalling.

“They are an incitement to international violence,” he said. “What we have said in the past is that we will take legal advice, which the Attorney-General is currently doing, in terms of whether there is a profitable way forward here through the appropriate international legal mechanisms.”

The very notion that the Iranian leader, up until now, has been allowed to openly spread the most vile of Jew-hate propaganda, while calling for the destruction of Israel, with whom it shares no border, and with impunity, tells how far the world has slipped from its moral founding.

Three cheers for the Australian government. Let us all hope that they are successful in their attempt to bring Ahamdinejad to justice, and in doing so, sending a signal that unless Iran changes its tune, more Iranians will be following the sleaze monkey into the dock. Perhaps more countries should be doing the same, especially those states that drive human rights issues like the US or Finland? *L* KGS
