Israel’s First Arab Minister: Sharia Supersedes Israeli Law…….

Israeli MK Aryeh Eldad (pictured) , calls for Israel’s first ever Government minister, Raleb Majadle to be fired for saying that Israeli law –which he is sworn to uphold– comes in second place to Islamic sharia.

“(IsraelNN.com) The Jewish State’s first Arab minister, Raleb Majadle, declared Wednesday that as far as Jerusalem’s Temple Mount is concerned, Israeli sovereignty is nonexistent and Islam rules. The minister spoke in his official capacity as Minister of Science, Culture and Sport, from the Knesset podium, in response to a parliamentary question by MK Aryeh Eldad (NU/NRP).”

The destruction going on at the Temple Mount is an archaeological disaster of monumental proportions and should be stopped immediately. But that is the least of worries for the Muslim Israeli minister, who is more concerned with Islam’s dominance than in any man made judicial system or sworn loyalty to a secular state, especially a Jewish one.

MK Elda asked Majadle during the hot debate in the Israeli Knesset:

“Does Israeli law apply on the Temple Mount or does it not?”

Majadle answered:

In my opinion, certainly not.” Eldad reminded him that in answering parliamentary questions he speaks for the entire government, but Majadle was unfazed: “I will say my opinion. Before I am a government minister I am first and foremost a person and a citizen and a Muslim. With all due respect for the law, the law was meant to respect the religion, the person and the citizen and protect him, and not the other way around, enslave him,” he explained. “Therefore I say clearly: Al-Aksa, Al-Haram al-Sharif [as the Temple Mount is called by Muslims – ed.], cannot be under the authority of Israeli law.

This is in my opinion enough grounds for a full dismissal of Raleb Majadle from the Israeli cabinet. If he can’t defend all of the laws he has sworn to uphold as an Israeli minister, then he should be given the boot. This incident goes to further underline the difficulties of getting Muslims to think of themselves as citizens of the state first, and their privately held religious convictions second. If they are unable to do so, then they should be restricted from holding public office.

What is happening in Israel is an indicator of what is happening all across Europe and throughout the West as well. Time for calling a “spade a spade” and say no to Islamist supremacists, even in Israel. More here. *L* KGS

Note: I recently met Aryeh Eldad at the Brussels Counter-Jihad conference, and he personally has nothing against individual Muslims, but everything against Islamic supremacy.
