What! A hairdresser is expected to show her hair while working in a hairdressing shop! The shock and amazement of it all!
“The owner of an “alternative” London hair salon is being sued for religious discrimination after refusing to give a job to a Muslim woman who wanted to wear a headscarf at work. Sarah Desrosiers, whose Wedge salon specialises in “urban funky” cuts, says she turned down applicant Bushra Noah because she was 
“selling image” and needed her staff to display their hairstyles to the public.”
The reply from the tolerant and misunderstood? You don’t like my scarf, well then I’ll sue ya! Just what does this woman understand about the beauty fashion business anyways, if she can’t figure out the guiding principle of the shop owner, Sarah Desrosiers?
I think she automatically disqualifies herself from the position on that glaring lack of judgement alone. How can she understand style, if she can’t even understand the need to impress people to come into the shop due to their own unique hairstyles? I don’t think that any fashion minded woman would want Noah cutting her hair, perception in the glamour business is everything.
Then there is the issue of money. No doubt the Muslim groups are funding the soliciter for her case, while the lonely proprieter of the beauty shop has already doled a thousand quid out of her own pocket.
Lets face it, Bushra Noah is jerk and should fess up to being one, and drop her stupid lawsuit. Turn the page on this one, the judge will most certainly throw it out of court, or at least he or she should. More here. *L* KGS
