This is too big to pass up. I usually try to limit my posts to the ME and Islamism in general as it effects Scandinavia, but since France is a very big part of the European Union in which I live, what happens there effects Finland as well. France has lost its sovereignty, it’s a fact that should concern both the EU parliament and fellow member states.
How is it that France (backbone of the EU) has allowed the situation to deteriorate that it tolerates “no-go zones”, that have effectively become Muslim soil, and in accordance to strict adherence of Muslim principles, once Muslim land is always Muslim land. There is no turning back. There are some French police willing to label this as an “Intifada”:
“However, not all officers on the ground accept that essentially secular interpretation. Michel Thoomis, the secretary general of the hardline Action Police trade union, has written to Mr Sarkozy warning of an “intifada” on the estates and demanding that officers be given armoured cars in the most dangerous areas. He said yesterday: “We are in a state of civil war, orchestrated by radical Islamists. This is not a question of urban violence any more, it is an intifada, with stones and Molotov cocktails. You no longer see two or three youths confronting police, you see whole tower blocks emptying into the streets to set their ‘comrades’ free when they are arrested.”
All of this should serve as a warning to EU expansionists that have eyed Turkey as a possible candidate for EU membership. Until France gets its own house in order, any such talk of allowing Turkey EU membership should be put on hold…indefinitely. Until the EU embarks on a joint policy of pressuring EU Muslims to moderate and to modernize themselves, as well as seeking to further assimilate the modernist Muslims into their societies, Islam will continue to present itself as a formidable problem, a problem that can nolonger be ignored.
