Not surprising in the least that the racist/bigoted and very genocidal terrorist group Hamas, has now laid down the Islamic law to the international Young Men’s Christian Association (YMCA). According to WorldNetDaily;
“The leadership of a West Bank Palestinian city now controlled by Hamas has warned a local Young Men’s Christian Association to close its offices and leave town or face likely Muslim violence. The move highlighted long-standing fears Hamas would use its win in last January’s Palestinian parliamentary elections to impose an anti-Christian, anti-Jewish hard-line Islamist regime in the West Bank and Gaza. The face of the new Hamas government is coming to the forefront now that they finally took over and have a lot more confidence. They want to create a territory free of Christians and Jews,” said a Christian leader associated with the YMCA in Qalqiliya, a West Bank town under the jurisdiction of the Palestinian Authority.”
I had posted earlier here and here about the persecution of Christian Arabs in the PA controlled areas, and that it was due to Islamist extremism. An excellent source of imformation for what’s happening to the Arab Christian minority in the PA can be found here. The official line coming from the leadership of the Christian Church about the Christian Arab’s plight cannot be trusted nor believed. Like the Russian Orthodox Church during the time of Soviet rule, which were used as mouth pieces for the Communist regime, the very same can be said of the Palestinian Arab Churches within the PA. In one post I mentioned that Jerusalem’s patriarch Michel Sabbah accused Israel of all their woes, while the exact opposite is spoken in secrecy by an unnamed source due to the threat of violence by Palestinian Muslims.
“All this talk about Israel driving Christians out and causing pain is nonsense,” a Bethlehem Christian community leader told WND. “You want to know what is at play here, just come throughout the year and see the intimidation from the Muslims. They have burned down our stores, built mosques in front of our churches, stole our real estate and took away our rights. Women have been raped and abducted. So don’t tell me about Israel. It’s the Muslims.”
The fear of persecution, rape of their daughters, abuse of store owners along with inability to prosecute the perpertrators of these crimes are what’s behind the Christians being driving out of thier traditional areas within the PA. Sadly, there is no concentrated effort by the western media at bringing these injustices to the light of day. Publishing negative news reports about the Palestinian Authority will significantly reduce their chances of an interview with this or that PA leader. The honest media would be exclusively “locked out” from future news stories, while the competition gets one scoop after the other.
That’s one of the reasons for the main stream media’s soft peddling the Palestinians atrocities. The Western media has become a part of the ongoing conflict, with the simple turn of the head when the Arabs are responsible and making sure the cameras and lights are turned on when a Palestinian is suppossedly being humiliated by an Iraeli soldier at a check point.
