Mahmoud Abbas: Murdering Israelis is “popular peaceful uprising”
by Itamar Marcus and Nan Jacques Zilberdik

If Abbas personally flew a plane into the new World Trade Center, Obama would find some excuse to keep the money coming to his terrorist group anyway.
Daniel Greenfield, a Shillman Journalism Fellow at the David Horowitz Freedom Center, is a New York writer focusing on radical Islam.
When Obama took office, his first phone call to a foreign leader was to the head of a terrorist group.
“This is my first phone call to a foreign leader,” Obama told the PLO’s Abbas. “And I’m making it only hours after I took office.”
Obama repeatedly bent, twisted and mutilated existing laws to keep the money flowing to the PLO’s Palestinian Authority. When Hamas and the PLO temporarily reconciled, Obama sent them money anyway. When Congress froze aid after the PLO defied the peace process by trying to join the UN, he signed a waiver claiming that aiding the terrorist network was “important to the security interests of the United States.” Earlier this year, when the PLO went after Israel at the International Criminal Court, Obama defied a Congressional law and bipartisan demands mandating a cutoff of aid.
If Abbas personally flew a plane into the new World Trade Center, Obama would find some excuse to keep the money coming to his terrorist group anyway. But now his determination to aid terrorists has hit a new low as he sides with terrorists against terror victims.
Eleven years ago, ten families who had suffered at the hands of the Muslim terror network filed a lawsuit against the PLO, Arafat and assorted PLO/PA officials. The American families suing the terrorists included Jamie Sokolow whose eye was damaged by shrapnel in the Jaffa Street bombing that injured 100 people and killed a 81-year-old amateur painter who had been out shopping for painting supplies.
“I’m 12 years old, I’m from New York, and I’m going to die,” she recollected in court thirteen years later.
I trust J.E.Dyer immensely, if she (and also at Israellycool) say that the Catholic pope did not utter those words as reported by the AP and AFP, then I have to retract my report on the incident filed yesterday.
NOTE: He’s still a Marxist though, and loony as well, to hope that Abbas could ever become ”an angel of peace”, it would kind of detract from Mohmed’s unending call for war against the infidel and the Jews.
To summarize, then: Pope Francis had previously commended both Abbas and Peres as “men of peace,” presumably intending papal encouragement for the pursuit of peace. At the meeting with Abbas on Saturday, the pope gave Abbas a medallion with the image of the Angel of Peace, and commented that Abbas might be, or would have the chance to be, an angel of peace. He did not say that Abbas is an angel of peace.

Fueled by wire stories from AP and AFP, the mainstream media have been running with a headline that Pope Francis, during a meeting at the Vatican on Saturday 16 May, called Palestinian Authority leader Mahmoud Abbas “an angel of peace.”
The problem: the pope did not call Abbas — aka the terrorist Abu Mazen — an “angel of peace.”
He did utter the words “angel of peace,” and he suggested that Abbas could or might be one. In the context of the pope’s complete statement about the meeting, the implication was that Abbas could be an angel of peace if he resumed direct negotiations with Israel.
Why did Francis say the words “angel of peace” at all? Because he was making a gift to Abbas of a medallion engraved with an image of the Angel of Peace. The Vatican Insider feature of Italy’s La Stampa has this summary in its English version:
As is tradition with heads of State or of government, Francis presented presented a gift to the Palestinian leader, commenting: “May the angel of peace destroy the evil spirit of war. I thought of you: may you be an angel of peace.” Pope Francis had called Abu Mazen a “man of peace” when he visited Bethlehem in May 2014, just as he called the then Israeli Prime Minister, Shimon Peres, a “man of peace” during his subsequent visit to Jerusalem.
For those who are interested in comparing the original Italian report at La Stampa, it’s here. The same passage has more information about the gift of the medallion.
Post updated: J.E.Dyer is saying that this isn’t the case, the pope stated that he hoped Abbas ”would be an angel of peace”. Even hoping for such a thing raises a whole different set of issues, but these are facts being reported.
If he thinks appeasement will assuage the ravenous beast, he’s mistaken. Dhimmi Christians under paleostinian rule will continue to be forced into leaving, regardless of the mindless vaporings of this idiot pope.
NOTE: All the major pro-Israel organizations that follow the Arabic traffic in public Paleostinian discourse note that, much of what they say and do runs counter to what this pope is pontificating. What a disgrace.
Israellycool, they’re the bomb!
Aussie Dave at Israellycool has a brilliant idea that hits the nail on the head. You remember from a day or so ago the pic I had posted of Mahmoud Abbas playing peek-a-boo at the Charlie Hedbo memorial march:
Well here is but one picture, in a line of many, by Israellycool that rams the idea home of the idiocy of inviting an Islamic terrorist to a memorial of those who were murdered by Islamic terrorists.
Pretending that they belong while the West cast its gaze elsewhere.
Refusing to acknowledge the reality of what exists in their midst, and with such a reckless regard for the truth, no wonder Muslims have a reason for smiling. The Arabs waging war on Israel have been getting away with it for decades.
Europe has for a long time played the game of being against ”terrorism/extremist radicalism”, and like Obama and other members of the US political, military establishment, refuse to name the enemy. Islam, its fundamental doctrine of jihad and those who refuse to condemn it.
They know it’s there, no one can be that completely sheltered from the amount of information easily accessible on the internet (on what Islam truly represents) and periodically, and with increasing regularity, it erupts on our very own streets with devastating affect to help remind us.
Just look at the picture of Abbas marching arm in arm with the rest of these political leaders, it’s more symbolic than most standing there would ever care to admit.
The Islamic fundamentalist in their midst (Islam 101’er), pretending to belong to the same norms and values as the rest of them, but yet, in an amazing moment of the camera shutter, he can’t help but show us why he shouldn’t be there. The failure to recognize that reality by most of these same leaders who participated in the event, is symbolically seen in the same picture as well. They’re all casting a gaze elsewhere, oblivious to the terrorist in their midst.
NOTE; A TT source says:
Well Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu was there too. The man who is the planner and the founder of ISIL. He is smiling widely behind European leaders, if you look carefully. He was laughing behind Merkel in some moment, he is the founder of ISIL (Islamic State), he promotes ISIL and Boko Haram. In 2014, he avoided calling ISIL a terror organization, Ahmet Davutoglu is a very dangerous radical person, he’s more radical than Erdogan. You might think Erdogan is the most radical person, but some people in Erdogan’s government are even more crazier than Erdogan, who slows them down in most cases.
Last week in a seminar at the University of Helsinki, Finnish Institute For International Affairs UPI ”expert”, Wolfgang Mühlberger, stated that the Palestinian Arabs demand for repatriation of +5 million Arabs to Israel ”was just a negotiations ploy”.
But any expert on the conflict, worth his/her salt, will realize that, since the Arabs’ war against Israel is not just about real estate, but about destruction of a non-Muslim entity -in the same vein as the Muslim destruction of the Christian Lebanese state- the dream of filling Israel up with millions of Muslims is not a ploy, it’s a goal.
NOTE: In reality, there are less than 200 000 real Arab refugees left in the world today. Refugee status cannot be handed down from parent to child, expect in the Orwellian world of the UN run UNRWA.

Palestinian Authority (PA) Chairman Mahmoud Abbas, who is often touted by the West as a “peace partner” of Israel’s, recently declared that there are six million “Palestinian refugees”, and that he is one of them.
Abbas’s comments were made in an interview with the Egyptian dailyAkhbar Al-Yawm, published last week and translated by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI).
In the interview, Abbas reiterated that he did not recognize Israel as a Jewish state, because this contradicted the Palestinian interests by “harming Israeli Arabs and preventing the return of the Palestinianrefugees.” He said that there were six million
“Working with Israel is very difficult, if not impossible. We are conducting mutual relations with people who don’t believe in peace. You ask for peace, and they do not want it…,” he charged in the interview.
“[Prime Minister Binyamin] Netanyahu said to me: ‘I want [Israel to be responsible for] security on the Jordanian border for 40 years.’ I pretended to have misheard him, and asked: ‘How many?!’ He said: ‘40 years’. I bid him farewell and said, ‘Let’s shake hands [in farewell].’ I left his home and said to him, ‘This is occupation.’ I haven’t seen him since…,” Abbas continued.
“In principle, I do not oppose 1:1 land swaps. Take territory of known value, and give territory of the same value,” said the PA Chairman, who placed “a basic condition for land swaps – Israel must recognize the June 4, 1967 border at a 1:1 ratio. For example, it is inappropriate for them to receive land in Jerusalem and give me [land] in the Negev [in exchange].”
“Netanyahu once told me that it was an ‘idea from hell,’ from his perspective, for him to give me the Triangle (the area of east-central Israel, including the cities of Tayibe and Tira -ed.) and everything in it,” said Abbas. “[The Triangle] was occupied in 1949 and at that time it had 38,000 residents. Today, it probably has about 400,000 residents. I said: ‘I will not take anyone. Forget it, because honestly, I will not allow, or force, any Arab to relinquish his Israeli citizenship.’ You might be surprised, but this is important. As far as I’m concerned, this is sacred.”
But we all know who and what are the pigs, with apologies to the actual barnyard variety.
In a speech on Friday the Palestinian Authority president made the accusation against Israeli settlers
Reports have emerged that Mahmoud Abbas, the president of the Palestinian Authority, claimed Israel was using wild pigs against Palestinians in the West Bank.
Mr Abbas’s allegation was made during a speech at a conference in Ramallah on Friday night, according to the Jerusalem Post.
“Every night they release wild pigs against us”, the president was quoted as saying, before adding “Why are they doing this?”.
The latest comments come after a Palestinian house was set on fire in Ramallah, the location of Mr Abbas’s speech, at around 4am on Sunday by Israeli settlers throwing Molotov cocktails. Anti-Palestinian graffiti was also daubed on the walls.
The accusation of using wild pigs as a weapon is not new. In the past, the Palestinian authority has claimed that the IDF and Israeli settlers have released the animals to intimidate farmers and damage crops.
No difference between Abbas/Fatah/Hamas and Islamic State.
Clue bat for the paleostinian poobah, the founder of his ideology created a global religious war when he left on his hijra from Mecca to Medina (Yathrib, the former Jewish town after he and his thugs decapitated all their men and sold the women and children into slavery/Islam)
The PA leader also maintained that the rioters at the Al-Aqsa Mosque on the disputed holy site had the right to defend themselves, and said Muslims and Christians would never recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
Abbas’s remarks (Arabic link) came in an address to thousands who gathered in Ramallah in honor of the 10th anniversary of the death of PLO leader Yasser Arafat, during which he cautioned the Israeli government against changing the status quo at the Temple Mount.
“Keep the settlers and the extremists away from Al-Aqsa and our holy places,” Abbas demanded. “We will not allow our holy places to be contaminated. Keep them away from us and we will stay away from them, but if they enter al-Aqsa, [we] will protect al-Aqsa and the church and the entire country,” he said. It was unclear what church Abbas was referring to.
The Islamo-thug died in a shoot out with J’lem police.
Sickening beyond belief that western governments give this Islamo-totalitarian pile of crap any kind of recognition and credibility. If we lived in a West that embodied the spirit of a previous age that defeated both the Nazis and Communists, Hamas and Fatah would be nothing more than mere by-lines and brief mentions in history.
Israeli journalist Gal Berger, posted on social media on Sunday, Nov. 2, what he claims is a condolence letter from the acting leader of the Palestinian Authority, Mahmoud Abbas, to the family of Muataz Hijazi.
Hijazi is the man who shot Jewish rights activist Yehuda Glick at point blank range last week.
The man about whom Abbas took the time to send an official condolence letter died in a shoot out with Jerusalem police who came to his home in Abu Tor the day after the attempted assassination, in order to question and, presumably, arrest him. As the police approached Hijazi’s home, gunshots rang out from the house and in the ensuing gun fight, the suspect died.
Hijazi spent 11 of his 32 years in an Israeli prison for acts of terrorism. He was a member of the terrorist organization Islamic Jihad.
The ”moderate” side of the Paleostinians.
Rioting on Temple Mount, October 8, 2014.. (photo credit:POLICE SPOKESPERSON’S UNIT)
Following the assassination attempt in Jerusalem of right-wing activist Yehuda Glick, Public Security Minister Yitzhak Aharonovich and Jerusalem Police Chief Moshe Edri ordered the closing of the Temple Mount to Jews and Arabs until further notice. The decision was taken due to intelligence assessments and security concerns at the site.
An increased number of police and border police will patrol Jerusalem on Thursday.
Aharonovitch called for calm and urged everyone, including politicians and public figures, not to incite the situation. Thursday, “will not be a simple day,” he said.
Early Thursday morning Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke with Edri and Aharonovich and with the head of the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) Yoram Cohen. Netanyahu ordered that the highest priority should be given to capture those responsible for shooting Glick, and that security personnel should be significantly increased in the capital.
A presser from The Israel Project:
It looks like a major figure on the Israeli right – an American-born activist named Yehuda Glick – has been the victim of a terrorist assassination attempt. The shooter pulled up on a motorbike as Glick was leaving the Begin Center and shot him in the chest. The last two updates I saw had Glick in “serious and unstable condition” and then “undergoing surgery and stabilizing.”
Glick is a controversial figure linked to movements that advocate Jewish sovereignty over the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. His supporters say he’s a gentle guy who leads groups of tourists around the area. His detractors say he’s a Jewish fanatic who want to desecrate Muslim holy sites on the Temple Mount and start World War III (really that’s the description, per some of the more colorful Al Jazeera reports). That entire debate will go by the wayside as the story develops, since “he’s not mainstream so he had it coming” is not really a tenable point.
Instead: the Israelis have been warning for months that Palestinian incitement – specifically as it relates to Jerusalem and even more specifically as it relates to the Temple Mount – was playing with fire. President Mahmoud Abbas and Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah have both personally given speeches in the last few weeks accusing Jews of engaging in dark conspiracies to “Judaize” Jerusalem and “desecrate” the Temple Mount. Two weeks ago Abbas went so far as to urge Palestinians to prevent Jews from entering the area “in any way.” See the bottom for links to stories about the speeches.
Netanyahu was so alarmed he used his own speech at the opening of the Knesset on Monday to emphasize that (1) Israel has no designs on the Temple Mount and (2) incitement about Jerusalem was going to lead to a disaster. Now you’ve got one of the top figures associated with Jews entering the Temple Mount gunned down.
If it really is a terrorist attack, the Israelis are very quickly going to link it to Abbas’s more or less explicit exhortations. Two weeks ago he called on Palestinians to prevent Jews from going up to the Temple Mount “in any way.” Today a major Jewish figure who regularly goes up to the Temple Mount gets shot. The line is not going to be difficult to draw.
Just for context and so you have the links handy:
Oct 17: Abbas tells Palestinians ‘settlers’ have ‘no right to desecrate Temple Mount’
“We must prevent them from entering the Noble Sanctuary in any way. This is our Al-Aksa and our church. They have no right to enter and desecrate them. We must confront them and defend our holy sites.”
Oct 27: Jerusalem eternal capital of Palestinian state, says PA’s Hamdallah at Temple Mount
“Jerusalem is a redline, and so is the Aksa Mosque”
May 19 (roundup via Palestinian Media Watch): PA Foreign Ministry libel: Israel plans to destroy the Al-Aqsa Mosque
“For more than two years it informed all Muslims and Arabs, at an official and public level about the nature of the Judaization plan at the Al-Aqsa Mosque (i.e., the Temple Mount Plaza)… The Israeli government has been carrying out this plan on a daily basis, and the rate of escalation and repression against Al-Aqsa is increasing… towards dividing it (the Temple Mount) geographically and according to time (allocating times and spaces for different religions), destroying it and building what is referred to as ‘the Temple’ in its place.”
Gee, does that make her and her husband Moody, traitors?
Doctors in Israel performed surgery on Amina Abbas, the wife of Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, at a private clinic near Tel Aviv over the weekend, as tensions between Israel and the PA mounted over the kidnapping of three Israeli teenagers by Palestinian terrorists.GN UP!
The operation on Abbas’s leg was performed on Friday, and she was released on Sunday.
Abbas was hospitalized at the Assuta Medical Center in Ramat Hachayal, near Tel Aviv. Her stay in a private room at the clinic was kept under wraps and security guards were stationed to maintain her privacy round the clock. Other patients were unaware of the identity of the VIP in the private room and Hebrew media said hospital staff members were evasive when questioned.
The three teenagers — Eyal Yifrach, 19, Gil-ad Shaar, 16, and Naftali Frenkel, 19 — were abducted on Thursday night in the West Bank. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said he holds Abbas’s Palestinian Authority responsible for their well-being.
Of course it is, the man is a devout Muslim whose ideology promotes the extinction of all Jews on the ”last day”.
It’s pure politics meant to keep the other side off guard and on the defensive, there is not an ounce of sincerity in his ”admission”, other than the need to stick it to the Jews:
Today’s news brought something that seemed to be new. Mahmud Abbas, notorious as author of a Holocaust-denying doctoral dissertation, denounced the Holocaust. He said in a widely quoted statement, that the Holocaust was “the most heinous crime to have occurred against humanity in the modern era“. I won’t argue with the statement itself. But why did a Holocaust denier say it? And why now?
The simplistic answer to the second question is that tonight Israelis begin the yearly commemoration of the Holocaust. On the other hand, the so-called “Israeli-Palestinian peace process” has recently broken down and US President Barack Obama blamed both sides for the breakdown. That is, Obama blamed not only Israel, not only Netanyahu, but the Palestinian Arab side too. This was because, among other things, Abbas, Palestinian Authority President, has allied his Palestinian Authority (PA) and his PLO (Palestine Liberation Organization) with the Islamist jihadist Hamas movement, which is the de facto government in a large part of the PA’s territory, the Gaza Strip, and therefore has been a rival for the loyalties of the Palestinian Arabs. The overt nature of Abbas former enemy, and new ally, creates a problem. For instance, Article 7 of the Hamas Charter openly advocates genocide of the Jews as an Islamic commandment:
The Prophet, Allah bless him and grant him salvation, has said:
“The Day of Judgment will not come about until Muslims fight the Jews (killing the Jews), when the Jews will hide behind rocks and trees. The rocks and trees will say O Muslim, O Slave of Allah, there is a Jew hiding behind me, come and kill him. . . ”
[This fable is a medieval Muslim hadith or tradition passed down in several versions, among them those of al-Bukhari and Muslim]
When a known Holocaust-denier engaged in a diplomatic-cum-terrorist struggle against Jews teams up with those who openly advocate genocide of the Jews, albeit at Judgement Day –which will not stop the average impatient Islamic jihad fanatic from acting out here and now– then your Holocaust-denier might want to cover himself in the court of public opinion. What better way than to denounce the Holocaust and pretend that your new partner does not advocate genocide?
They might as well have asked him to convert to Judaism.
It shows a severe misunderstanding of the nature of the Arab/Muslim conflict with the Jewish state. They want Israel’s destruction more than they want a state for themselves.
WASHINGTON — A slate of 100 US Jewish leaders wrote Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas urging him to make public his opposition to a ‘right of return’ and his agreement to a demilitarized Palestinian state.
The letter, spearheaded by the Israel Policy Forum, noted that in a recent private meeting, Abbas said an agreement would end the conflict and any Palestinian claims to “Haifa, Acre and Safed,” and that a Palestinian state would not need “planes or missiles” but a “strong police force.”
To those who fight against an enemy that refuses to live peacefully, Robert Mitchum gives some advice:
Stinky Arafat, the ‘light in the sandal’ scimitar of Palestinian terrorism, was a master of it, saying one thing for Western consumption, and entirely another for the clans back home.
On Thursday, August 22, 2013, Meretz members of Knesset met with Mahmoud Abbas, whose term as the elected leader of the Palestinian Authority finished three years ago.
In a statement broadcast on the 11PM August 22 newsreel of the “Voice of Israel” Israel Broadcasting Authority Radio, Meretz Knesset faction leader Zahava Galon proudly presented Abbas’s policy statement delivered to Meretz that he would relinquish the PLO vision of the “right of return” to the areas lost in 1948- Tzfat, Jaffa, Acre, BeerSheva, and more.
Galon and other Meretz MK’s did not ask Abbas to repeat that policy statement on the “Voice of Palestine”‘ – the PBC Palestine Broadcasting Corporation radio or TV network, in the Arabic language.
In other words a ‘Jew free’ state of Palestine.
Jew free like in Jordan, the other ‘Palestinian’ state. No lack of clarity there, no Jews to live in their Jewish ancient homeland of Judea and Samaria, but of course an Israel, with 1.5 million Arabs, is the chief villain in the mind of the loon Left.

CAIRO | Mon Jul 29, 2013 8:54pm EDT
(Reuters) – Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas laid out his vision on Monday for the final status of Israeli-Palestinian relations ahead of peace talks due to resume in Washington for the first time in nearly three years.
Abbas said that no Israeli settlers or border forces could remain in a future Palestinian state and that Palestinians deem illegal all Jewish settlement building within the land occupied in the 1967 Middle East war.
The forceful statements appeared to challenge mediator U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry’s hopes that the terms of the talks, scheduled to begin Monday night over dinner, be kept secret.
“In a final resolution, we would not see the presence of a single Israeli – civilian or soldier – on our lands,” Abbas said in a briefing to mostly Egyptian journalists.
Yet another reason why the UN should be disbanded and cell phones handed out to all exiting diplomats.
The only war crimes going on in the region is by the Arabs themselves against their own people, called democide, or in other words, state murder.
You only need to look around the Muslim Middle East to see just exactly where the atrocities are taking place, it’s Muslim killing Muslims, Muslims killing Christians and other tiny minorities.
NOTE: Hey Abbas, shut your pie hole.
The Palestinian representative to the United Nations, Riyad Mansour, said to Security Council members Tuesday that Israel was committing “war crimes” and supporting acts of “terror” against his people.
His statements came as the United States is trying to schedule peace talks in Washington between Israelis and Palestinians — and as authorities from both sides say publicly they are interested in forging a deal.
Mr. Mansour slammed Israel further, decrying the nation’s continued building in the West Bank and what he termed as land confiscations and the ousting of Palestinian citizens, Ynet News reported.
He also said Palestinian leaders have not set any conditions to start up peace talks, though Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas was reported by Jordanian media to have said just days ago that “any solution must remove Israel permanently from Palestinian land,” a suggestion at pre-1967 borders. Meanwhile, he seemed to make clear that border issues were the roadblock to peace talks.
Revolving doors at Arab jails.
This is why Israeli jails are filled with Palestinian Arab terrorists and other assorted criminals, the PA refuses to investigate, arrest and prosecute them according to the agreements they signed during the Oslo Accords. They simply refuse holding up their end of the bargain, so Israel then, is forced into the job of policing the Arabs their leaders have abdicated for political reasons.
h/t: Israel and Stuff
Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas, hailed the world over as a “moderate,” again insisted last week that Palestinian Arabs who murder Israeli Jews cannot be punished for their crimes.
Abbas was hosting a two-day “Freedom and Dignity” conference in Ramallah to mark the 11th anniversary of Israel’s arrest of Marwan Barghouti, a senior member of Abbas’ own Fatah party who was convicted of directing numerous terrorist attacks against Israelis.
Polls show that a vast majority of Palestinians want to elect Barghouti as their president, if he is every freed by Israel.
At the event, Abbas declared that whether or not Israel frees the thousands of jailed Palestinian terrorists will determine its true commitment to peace.
Many of the Palestinians jailed by Israel took part in attacks that killed innocent Jewish men, women and children. And most of the rest were captured while trying to do so.
According to Abbas, these killers and would-be killers must not be held accountable for their crimes. After all, they were only trying to kill Jews.
Even more shocking than Abbas’ position on this matter is the support it receives from America and Europe.
The Freedom and Dignity conference was graced by the presence of Isabelle Durant, vice president of the European Parliament, who Palestinian media reported is making “immense efforts” to win the freedom of the jailed terrorists.
