Why not just close them all down instead?

As in the US, the more shariah compliant the mosque, the more likely it’ll be preaching/promoting jihad. This is reason enough to route them all out, at least the ones that fill the criteria, and the jury is still on the rest.

Other activities that would be banned include teaching that “promotes extreme views” or those deemed incompatible with fundamental British values.

Madrassas are set to face tougher regulation and inspection in England under new Government plans.

Under the shake up, any after-school setting providing intensive education would have to register and be subject to official scrutiny.

The new regulations will likely apply to all institutions that offer more than eight hours of weekly tuition, which is expected to cover nearly all madrassas.

The new plans could also see madrassas banned from appointing unsuitable staff who failure to ensure the safety of children.

That is what a madrassa is all about.

If you have no right, not to participate, beaten and coerced if you ‘get it wrong’, and made to parrot by heart everything written within ‘dear leader’s‘ book, you can safely call it indoctrination/brain washing.

NOTE: Just think of the 2nd Indian Jones film and the children he freed from the Temple of Doom, then you get the idea.

Tanzania dismantles al-Shabaab child indoctrination camp in Tanga region

By Deodatus Balile in Dar es Salaam

November 15, 2013

Tanzanian police broke up an al-Shabaab training operation in Tanga region, arresting 69 suspects and freeing dozens of recruits ranging from 4 to 13 years old in a security sweep carried out October 28th to November 5th.

  • Children as young as 4 years old were found being indoctrinated by al-Shabaab elements in Tanga. Above is a screenshot from a video produced by al-Shabaab's media arm al-Kataib, showing young boys being indoctrinated in Somalia.

“This has shocked us, we have increased security in Kilindi district and we have deployed enough community police who know the place properly, and through joint operations with our police we are getting encouraging results,” Tanga Regional Police Commander Constantine Massawe told Sabahi, confirming the number of arrests.

On the first day of the operation, police rescued 54 children and 32 women who were found at a training facility in Lwande and reunited them with their families the first week of November, according to Kilindi District Commissioner Selemani Liwowa.

Indoctrinating very young minds

Another 20 children, aged between 4 and 13 and who “had been completely brainwashed” by al-Shabaab at a local mosque, were placed in a rehabilitation programme, Liwowa told Sabahi.

When police found them at Madina mosque, the youngsters possessed exercise books which contained teachings on “how to kill using a knife [or] a machete, how to fight aggressors with weapons and without [weapons], how to sabotage the economy and how to liberate East Africa from the hands of the kuffar [infidels],” according to Liwowa.

Al-Shabaab had brainwashed these children to the point that they disowned their parents as not being true Muslims because they intermingled with non-Muslims, he said.

The more you scratch the surface, the more you find.

The situation deserves more investigations, not only in the Netherlands but anywhere a koran school is in operation. These are kids for crying out loud, they deserve the same equal protection under the law afforded to the rest of society, and that right shall not be infringed upon due to religious or cultural sensibilities.

Source: Via: BadNewFromTheNetherlands:

Mayor Peter Noordanus of Tilburg has complained to the police about suspected ill-treatment of children at two Koranschools in his town. The suspicions are based on an investigation by the Municipal Health Service (GGD). Six children of ten and eleven year old have declared that they were witnesses of the ill-treatment. At a Moroccan school a teacher is accused of hitting children with his hands and threatening to whip them. The other complaints concern a Somalian school.

Four incidents come from the weekend school associated with the Moroccan mosque in Tilburg-Noord, the controversial Salafist imam Ahmad Salam. A teacher would hit the kids with the (flat) hand and threaten to use a whip. Salam in 2004 became known nationally  in his refusal to shake (then) Minister Rita Verdonk’s hand.

Somali children
Two incidents come from Ypelaer community center where Somali children on weekends were being taught.

‘The findings of the GGD upset me very much. I find it unacceptable that children in our city are mistreated. That is intolerable. Any evidence of child abuse should be considered criminal,” the mayor wrote in a letter to the council.

Noordanus has spoken with representatives from both schools beginning this month. The schools say that the incidents are new.

Anonymous hotline
Because Quran education is not covered by standard supervision, there is a protocol agreed to with the schools. The schools will be prosecuted for having any form of physical punishment, humiliation of a child writes the mayor. There is an anonymous hotline for  incidents and parenting questions.

The VVD in Tilburg Wednesday responded immediately. The party is not surprised but shocked. The VVD deems the declaration a tough but legitimate step.

The pictures taken, were at a legal boarding school madrassa in Rotterdam. Given the accounts of what goes on at other madrassas, code violations are the least of problems facing these children.

NOTE: I don’t view madrassas as having anything to do with ‘child care’.

Living in a mosque in Rotterdam North 12 photos

In the Netherlands there are hundreds of children in mosques. Only on weekends they get to go home. Some of these are Islamic boarding schools, as according to research by NRC today, are poorly maintained, unsafe fire hazards and one is illegal. The government maintains, unlike in other forms of childcare, can in no way monitor how children are being treated in these boarding schools.

In Rotterdam alone, where three boarding school mosques and a fourth under construction are known. One of them, in the south of the city, is an illegal girl boarding school. The mosque let fifty girls live in the attic, illegally, without a sleeping license. In the summer of last year, the situation there was “absolutely unsafe fire hazards” and, given the sleeping children, “even dangerous,” according to a confidential note of the municipality.

In the Iskender Pasa mosque in Rotterdam Noord there is legal boarding. The blue carpeted floor of the dormitory of Iskender Pasa is clean. There are no bags on the floor, not even clothes. Also the walls are empty. In the hall of the stairwell hangs a sign, “Purity is half of faith”, it says. In this room were 28 Turkish adolescent boys aged 12 to 18 years old. During the day they go to a high school, the rest of their time they spend here.

Teacher at Blackburn mosque used ‘torture positions’ on pupils

1:00pm Saturday 21st July 2012 in News

A TEACHER at a Blackburn mosque has admitted using beatings and torture positions as a form of discipline on four pupils.

Irfan Patel, 33, pleaded guilty to four counts of cruelty to a person under the age of 16 at Preston Crown Court yesterday.

Using an Urdu translator to enter his plea, the teacher of several years, showed no emotion.

The court heard Patel used physical violence to discipline the boys aged between 10 and 16 between January 1, 2011 and October 19, 2011.

He used to strike the children around the back of the head and on the back with his fists during religious lessons at the mosque.

What’s even more astounding is that he’s bewildered and astounded.

Where has this guy been for the last 20 years? To preach Islam 101, is to promote hatred and anti-Semitism, it’s as simple as that, and saying so is just being truthful about it. All you have to do is read Dr.Andrew Bostom’s heavily sourced book “The Legacy of Islamic Anti-Semitism” to know just how basic Islam 101 vitriolic anti-Semitism is in Islamic texts.

NOTE: The thing is, the OIC dismisses and rejects the phenomenon of Islamic/Muslim anti-Semitism, so we are back at square one, and that is something that the SWC has to pick up and campaign against.

Prosecutors fear the real numbers may be higher because many parents are reluctant to make formal complaints – or are pressured to withdraw them.

In a large number of cases children claim to have been hit with sticks or other implements.

At a Lancashire mosque, children as young as six were punched in the back, slapped, kicked and had their hair pulled. In Lambeth, South London, staff attacked youngsters with pencils and even a phone cable.

Child protection guidance issued to mosques

ASSAULT allegations made against a scholar have prompted new guidance on child protection for Islamic teaching centres in Bolton.

The centres, known as Madrasahs, will be handed a new document prepared by the Bolton Council of Mosques (BCoM).

The Every Child Matters in Madrasah Guidance Document is to cover issues such as management and child protection, and will also include sample policies, procedures and forms for each Madrasah to use.

The introduction of the document follows a recent court case in which an Islamic scholar was alleged to have hit pupils.

Sohail Musa, aged 21, was cleared of any wrongdoing by Bolton magistrates last month after it was alleged he struck children at an evening class for young boys at the Zakarriyya Mosque, in Peace Street, Daubhill.

But following the trial, mosque leaders said the case highlighted the need for policies and procedures to be in place in madrasahs across Bolton.

We have had a similar demand here in Finland, not so much about madrassas, yet, but about using Finnish universities as training facilities to create a new fleet of domestic imams. Once the already 30 000+ Muslim community begins to expand, expect the same push, (or should the TT say putsch) for secular institutions to be used to further Islam. KGS

Psychologist: Western Quran schools are “terrorist factories”

EuropeNews 23 February 2011
By Dr. Nicolai Sennels, psychologist and author

How to turn normal human beings into murderous and hateful psychopaths who blindly obey their totalitarian systems and its authorities suppressing and killing innocent people? In short: How to create a terrorist?

Violent and murderous political, ethnic and religious regimes have used the same effective methods throughout history all over the world. The procedure consists of two simple steps that are repeated again and again:

1) You force a person to repeat the system’s doctrine again and again for months and years until he or she knows every word by heart and it pervades his or her whole way of thinking and it is the only truth they believe in.

2) You beat and scare the person (best if this is done randomly and severely), thus forcing him or her to become insensitive and unempathic in order to be able to bare the physical and psychological suffering and in order to increase feelings of anger, frustration and fear – feelings that are then directed against the system’s enemies.

In this way you will create a person whose whole being is pervaded by the system’s doctrine and who has lost the ability to feel both his own and others’ pain. You will have an emotionally cold person that blindly follows his authorities and their political or religious doctrine. If you use this method on a child who is in the process of developing its personality, the learned doctrine will simply become a part of the child’s personality. The psychological impact of the physical abuse will also be deeper. As children and youth are dependent on acceptance from adults, they are easier to influence.

Being a child psychologist I was shocked to realise that this is exactly what is done to millions of Muslim children in both the Muslim world and the West. Tens of thousand of madrassas and Quranic schools all over the world are making their students repeat the Quran and the Hadiths again and again, until they know them by heart. They are told to believe every word and never to question neither the way nor the goal.

It is normal in these schools that the defenceless and innocent children are randomly beaten and humiliated by the teachers and older students – who themselves are emotionally destroyed beings who have been abused the same way as they now use against their pupils. They personify the goal: The abused becomes the abuser.

Britain has more than 2,000 madrassas, where more than 200,000 children aged from four to their mid-teens are taught the Quran on weekday evenings.

It comes after another school featured in the documentary announced yesterday that it would close amid safety fears.

Teachers at the Darul Uloom Islamic High School, in Small Heath, Birmingham, have held meetings with police chiefs and fear that youngsters could be targeted by far-Right activists.

There, the documentary showed an apparent preacher, making offensive remarks about Hindus and ranting: ‘Disbelievers are the worst creatures’.

The school say the person featured making the remarks was a 17-year-old pupil who has since been expelled.

In Keighley, footage filmed by a volunteer, shows children as young as six sitting on the floor of a large room in the mosque, one of the biggest in the country.

Secret filming at Muslim schools in Birmingham and Yorkshire shows pupils being beaten and ‘taught Hindus drink cow p***’

It is an assembly hall of the sort found in any ordinary school. Boys aged 11 and upwards sit cross-legged on the floor in straight rows. They face the front of the room and listen carefully. But this is no ordinary assembly. Holding the children’s attention is a man in Islamic dress wearing a skullcap and stroking his long dark beard as he talks.

‘You’re not like the non-Muslims out there,’ the teacher says, gesturing towards the window. ‘All that evil you see in the streets, people not wearing the hijab properly, people smoking . . . you should hate it, you should hate walking down that street.’

He refers to the ‘non-Muslims’ as the ‘Kuffar’, an often derogatory term that means disbeliever or infidel.

Welcome to one of Britain’s most influential Islamic faith schools, one of at least 2,000 such schools in Britain, some full-time, others part-time. They represent a growing, parallel education system.

The school is the Darul Uloom Islamic High School in Birmingham, an oversubscribed independent secondary school. Darul Ulooms are world-renowned Islamic institutions and their aim is to produce the next generation of Muslim leaders. In fact, these schools have been described as the ‘Etons of Islam’.

This school is required by its inspectors to teach tolerance and respect for other faiths. But the Channel 4 current affairs programme Dispatches filmed secretly inside it – and instead discovered that Muslim children are being taught religious apartheid and social segregation.

We recorded a number of speakers giving deeply disturbing talks about Jews, Christians and atheists.

We found children as young as 11 learning that Hindus have ‘no intellect’ and that they ‘drink cow p***’.

And we came across pupils being told that the ‘disbelievers’ are ‘the worst creatures’ and that Muslims who adopt supposedly non-Muslim ways, such as shaving, dancing, listening to music and – in the case of women – removing their headscarves, would be tortured with a forked iron rod in the afterlife.

In 2009 this school was praised by Government-approved inspection teams for its interfaith teachings. The report said that ‘pupils learn about the beliefs and practices of other faiths and are taught to show respect to other world religions’.

To be beaten until
they learn Mo’s nonsense
Ed Balls: I don’t want to offend so,
g’head and smack em around…….

This is how they’ve been doing it since the false prophet of the cult of allah’s Islam began ‘instructing’ his followers to recite the words he wrote in his (then) new book called the Koran. That’s how cultists instill strict obedience into their new plebs, beat and intimidate them in order to complete their brainwashing.
UK Schools Secretary, Ed Balls,  doesn’t want to offend the Idiology of Perpetual Outrage (IPO), so Muslims should feel free to beat their children without a worry that the local authorities will intervene to stop them from hurtíng and humiliating their children. Just remember the UK’s golden rule, there’s one set of laws for majority, and another set for the followers of Mo.  KGS

Schools Secretary Ed Balls has been accused of refusing to ban Islamic schools from smacking children for fear of upsetting Muslim ‘sensitivities’.
Mr Balls was last week urged to close a legal loophole which gives teachers in Britain’s estimated 1,600 schools associated with mosques the right to smack children – even though it is banned in other schools.
He refused, prompting claims that he is allowing an alleged ‘culture of physical abuse’ in some of the mosque schools – or madrasahs – go unchecked.
Smacking is banned in all State and private schools. However, it does not apply to madrasahs, where pupils usually study in the evenings or at weekends, because the ban exempts schools where children attend for less than 12.5 hours per week.
Lib Dem schools spokesman David Laws, who is spearheading the campaign to close the smacking loophole, said: ‘The Government needs to legislate to protect children – not leave an opt-out simply because it fears some ethnic or religious backlash.’
He was supported by Labour MP Ann Cryer, who said it would be ‘bonkers’ if the Government did not act. She said: ‘I suspect people are frightened of upsetting the sensitivities of certain members of the Muslim faith.’
A report just over a year ago warned that madrasah students had been slapped, punched and had their ears twisted.
Irfan Chishti, a former Government adviser on Islamic affairs, said that one madrasah student was ‘picked up by one leg and spun around’ while another pupil said a teacher was ‘kicking in my head like a football’.
In a separate report in 2006, leading British Muslim Dr Ghayasuddin Siddiqui raised fears that physical abuse in madrasahs was ‘widespread’.
MPs have been told some of the alleged abuse of children in the Islamic schools may be the result of ignorance of laws on the treatment of children among Muslim parents and teachers.
Mrs Cryer, whose Keighley constituency in Yorkshire has a large ethnic community, claimed some of the children being illtreated in Islamic schools were those with special needs.
She said she was alerted to the problem by a local schoolteacher-I had a lot of problems in a madrasah in my constituency,’ said Mrs Cryer.
‘They don’t seem to have any understanding of special needs children. If a kid isn’t learning their Koranic verses terribly well, they think it’s because they are being naughty, not because they have an incapacity.

Inside a Pakistani Madrassa: Brainwashing of the Young…….

Turning young minds
into putty for the prophet

Head master of the brainwashing dept:
Got any kids, send them my way for enlightenment

Inside a Pakistani school where children are being brainwashed into terrorists

….”The only time he appeared evasive in our long conversation was when I asked him where the money comes from to pay for his hugely expensive operation.

At first, he just grinned and said: ‘That’s a very good question!’ Then he told me most of it comes from ‘zakat’ – the charitable donations all Muslims are meant to pay if their income is above a certain level – a minimum of 2.5per cent.

I raised that with two senior security officials in Karachi. They were perfectly happy to talk to me at their headquarters, but they asked me not to identify them: men like Imam Naeem wield a great deal of influence in this society.

Did they believe zakat paid for the madrassa? They did not. Did they believe the madrassa gave no succour to extremists? They did not. Could they prove it? They could not.

I asked why they did not simply raid madrassas in the way they would raid any other premises they suspected of harbouring terrorists. They merely smiled.

The question of where the money comes from is a crucial one. When I first reported from Pakistan in the early Seventies the number of madrassas could be counted in the dozens. Today, there are about 20,000.

And many – probably the majority – are funded by the most extreme Muslim denomination, the Wahhabis. There are relatively few Wahhabis compared to the Sunnis and Shias but their influence is out of all proportion to their size.

Wahhabis arose in Saudi Arabia in the 18th century and when the oil started flowing from beneath the Saudi deserts they became vastly rich. They have used billions of pounds of that wealth to fund madrassas around the world.

What makes their more extreme followers so frightening is that they believe God gives them the right to kill people they deem to be ‘infidels’. “
