‘Islamophobia Studies’ Are Coming To A College Near You, And There Won’t Be Any Debate About It.

“Before I get started, I just wanted to say that we are meeting on stolen indigenous people’s land. That’s really important to acknowledge.” So declared San Francisco State University race and resistance studies professor Rabab Abdulhadi, at the University of California, Berkeley’s Seventh Annual International Islamophobia Conference in April.
Abdulhadi’s seemingly disjointed declaration was typical of the post-colonial, “intersectionality”-driven jargon of the entire conference, which sought to link the mythical plight of America’s prosperous, content Muslim population, with the struggles of every oppressed minority known to man. It was also an opportunity for two academic centers at opposite ends of the country to join forces and promote what was euphemistically referred to at the 2015 UC Berkeley conference as “Islamophobia studies.”
While UC Berkeley Islamophobia Research & Documentation Project (IRDP) director and conference convener Hatem Bazian gave the opening remarks, John Esposito, founding director of Georgetown University’s Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding (ACMCU) and project director of ACMCU’s Bridge Initiative, “a multi-year research project that connects the academic study of Islamophobia with the public square,” was the undisputed star.
I had one of Erdogan’s lawyers screaming into the ear of a good Turkish friend of mine over a TT photoshop of Erdogan I made a few years ago, demanding if it was his blog (the TT) which published the pic. (A very true story)
Turns out the pic predicted Erdogan’s power grab.
Boris Johnson wins The Spectator’s President Erdogan Offensive Poetry competition
I’m pleased to announce that we have a winner of The Spectator’s President Erdogan Offensive Poetry competition, and here it is:
There was a young fellow from Ankara
Who was a terrific wankerer
Till he sowed his wild oats
With the help of a goat
But he didn’t even stop to thankera.
The author of this winning entry is former Mayor of London and chief Brexiteer, Boris Johnson MP.
The rereading of the satire was not for the sake of free speech, but for the record showing what was in the poem……
No golden rule in Islam….just pain, cruelty and death for those who reject it…….
“I was able to identify the sheikh because we are neighbours, and my father had been questioning him about the Islamic faith not leading one to salvation with God,” she said.
“The sheikh had said to him, ‘You have no respect of our religion, and we have come for your life today.’ They started strangling my father as well as hitting him on the head with a big stick. When my father fell down, I managed to escape through the window.”
Christian woman raped and beaten after testifying against imam in Uganda
A Christian woman has been beaten and raped by Muslims in Eastern Uganda after she testified against an imam who allegedly killed her father, according to Morning Star News.
The 22-year-old woman had testified in court that Sheikh Musana Ibrahim, the imam of a mosque in Kanyumu village, Pallisa District, and two other Muslims killed her father, Samson Mukama, on January 28.
She said she was beaten and raped on April 19 and found unconscious in a pool of blood that evening in Kanginima village, having been attacked by three Muslim men.
“We shall kill you today because you are the one who made our sheikh to be imprisoned,” one of the men said to her, she told Morning Star News from her hospital bed.
The woman, whose identity has not been revealed, was present when her father was killed, but managed to escape.

Editor of LGBT magazine hacked to death in Bangladesh
A U.S. government employee, who was editor of an LGBT magazine in Bangladesh, was hacked to death by assailants in the capital Dhaka, according to media reports.
A group of assailants Monday stormed the home of Xulhaz Mannan, a staffer for the U.S. Agency for International Development, killing him and a friend, police told The Daily Star. Mannan was a senior editor of the publication Roopbaan, the only gay rights magazine in the country, according to the BBC.
The killing took place two days after the hacking death of Rezaul Karim Siddiquee, an English professor at Rajshahi University in northern Bangladesh, the newspaper reported. The Islamic State claimed responsibility for Siddiquee’s killing, according to the SITE Intelligence Group, based in Washington, D.C. The Islamic State, also known as ISIS or ISIL, accused him in a statement of “calling to atheism,” the BBC reported. Last year, assailants killed four prominent secular bloggers with machetes, in what The Indian Express called a systematic series of assaults on minorities, intellectuals and foreigners in the majority Muslim country.
Mannan’s killers gained entry by claiming to be delivering a package, according toThe Daily Star. Eyewitnesses told The Dhaka Tribune they heard shouting and shooting before the assailants came out of the apartment while chanting Islamic phrases and attacked a security guard.

Over at Rebel Media: WATCH: German government ARRESTS man for TALKING about criticizing Erdogan
‘What you get for dealing with dictators’ – German PP leader Kramm to RT on his Erdogan poem arrest
Bruno Kramm was arrested on Friday for quoting a line from Jan Boehmermann’s satirical poem about Turkish President Recep Tajiip Erdogan during a rally supporting the comedian. The latter was forced to suspend his TV show last week after Chancellor Merkel heeded Erdogan’s calls to begin criminal proceedings against the famous satirist. He is now being prosecuted under a rarely used section of the German criminal code – Section 103 – for “insulting a representative of a foreign state.”
“The Choice” by Weapons of Musical Defense warns of the Dhimmitude mindset
Because insulting dear leader, especially as a non-muslim, is a no no in Islam.
It just goes to show just how clueless Western leaders are about Islam.
Dutch PM wants answers on Turkey’s ‘call to report insults’
EINDHOVEN – Agence France-Presse
Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte said April 22 he will ask Ankara to clarify a call to Turks in the Netherlands to report individuals who insult the Turkey or its president.
Rutte said he was surprised by the apparent plea to Turks living in the country to report insulting or negative comments about President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan or Turkey to the country’s consulate in Rotterdam.
A political storm erupted on April 21 after several Dutch newspapers reported an email apparently sent by the consulate to Turkish organisations in the Netherlands, which asked people to forward disparaging emails and posts on social media such as Facebook and Twitter.
“I am surprised. It’s not clear what the Turkish government aims to achieve with this action,” Rutte told journalists during a joint press conference with visiting GermanChancellor Angela Merkel in the southern city of Eindhoven.
“Our ambassador in Ankara will ask for an explanation,” he said.
The Turkish consulate for its part said the note was sent by a consular official who used an “unfortunate choice of words” that was misinterpreted.
Dutch lawmakers were indignant following the reports, demanding a reaction from Rutte’s government on how it planned to deal with the issue.
In Islam, it’s an offence to give offence to Islam itself and to its leaders…….
It’s one of the reasons I will never go to Turkey, or any other Muslim state, I just don’t do Islam..
Dutch journalist arrested in Turkey after criticising Erdogan
Ankara: A Dutch journalist was arrested early Sunday at her home in Turkey for tweets deemed critical of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, according to her Twitter account.
“Police at the door. No joke,” wrote Ebru Umar, a well-known atheist and feminist journalist of Turkish origin.
Umar recently wrote a piece critical of Erdogan for the Dutch daily Metro, extracts of which she then tweeted, leading to her arrest.
“I’m not free, we’re going to the hospital” for a medical examination before being taken to face prosecutors, she said in a second tweet as she left her home in Kusadasi, a resort town in western Turkey.
The Dutch foreign ministry said in a tweet that it was in “close contact with” Umar and “local authorities” and the Dutch embassy in Istanbul was “actively engaged” in the case, which had its “full attention”.
Time to start protesting in Germany against such egregious anti-free speech laws.
Really disgusting to see our western leaders behaving like complete simpletons and morons, it’s even worse when the behave in the just said fashion, but as dhimmis as well. The complete Islamization of Europe is only a matter of time with these fools in charge.
Merkel allows Erdogan’s case against TV host to go ahead
Published: 15 Apr 2016 13:14 GMT+02:00
“Issuing permission for a prosecution to go ahead… does not mean pre-judging the defendant nor a premature decision about the boundaries of freedom of art, the press, or opinion,” Merkel said.
She added that the government planned to abolish paragraph 103 of the criminal code, the law against insulting foreign heads of state, with effect from 2018.
The law is a hangover from German legal codes dating back to the 19th Century that has never been repealed.
It is commonly known in Germany as the Shah Paragraph, after the Iranian Shah Mohammed Reza Pahlavi used it to try and suppress criticism from the within the Bundesrepublik [Federal Republic of Germany].

Broadcaster ZDF told reporters on Tuesday that Thursday’s edition of Böhmermann’s show Neo Magazin Royale had been cancelled because of “massive public pressure”.
Regional newspaper Rheinische Post reported that Böhmermann is now under police guard at his home in Cologne.
“We are evaluating the current situation and are in contact with the security services,” a Cologne police spokesman told the newspaper.
Earlier on Tuesday, Chancellor Angela Merkel faced accusations she had made a “big mistake” by failing to support Böhmermann’s artistic freedom in the stand-off with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
“It was a big mistake that is hopefully causing her pain,” Oliver Welke, presenter of Friday-night satirical news show “heute show”, told Bild.
Germany’s constitution guarantees “freedom of expression, academia and of course the arts,” Merkel emphasized in remarks on Tuesday.
“These values apply regardless of all the political problems that we discuss with each other. And that includes the issue of refugees,” the Chancellor said.
Here’s Martin Himel showing how cartoonists fear portraying muslim leaders badly in comparison to how they treat Jews and Israeli leaders.
This is the essence of Islamo-vigilantism, the muslim street keeping the people in check with the government casting a blinded eye.
Europe/US, is this what you want on our streets? Keep playing with fire.
Just think of the international commotion if this happened in Israel, with the ”Jewish street” rising up and murdering an atheist critic of Judaism? It will never happen, but if it did, it would be a 24/7 news item. Since Bangladesh is a developing country, it’s held to a different bogus standard, like all other muslim countries. Racism of lower expectations.
Bangladesh student Nazimuddin Samad hacked to death
7 April 2016
A Bangladeshi law student who had expressed secular views online has been killed in the capital, Dhaka.
Nazimuddin Samad was hacked with machetes at a traffic junction late on Wednesday and then shot, police said.
The 28-year-old was reported to have been an organiser of the Ganajagran Manch, a secular campaigning group.
A string of prominent secular bloggers have been attacked or killed by religious extremists in Bangladesh in the last year.
Bangladesh is officially secular but critics say the government has failed to properly address the attacks.

Put up or shut up…….
In Finland, Easter time brings out the little witches handing out willow branches with colored feathers in exchange for sweets, repeating the Finnish rhyme door to door:
Virvon varvon, tuoreeks terveeks, tulevaks vuueks, ison talon isännäks. Vitsa sulle, palkka mulle.
A Finns politician posted: “Is this some kind of integration [programme] where Muslim children go around giving Easter blessings? Or does Allah also have some kind of anniversary today? It’s a pity I don’t have any condoms …”
Tasteless, perhaps, racist…..no.
Islam is not a race, it’s an ideology, a very destructive, violent, antisemitic, hateful ideology, but not a race. I place the idea of “being critical/ or impugning muslims as tantamount to being racist” right alongside that of the buffoonish term of ”age racism”. Yes, in Finland, that term has been invented to describe age discrimination.
Finns Party politician requests police probe of own Facebook posts mocking Muslim children
Tampere region Finns Party politician Terhi Kiemunki has called on police to investigate Facebook posts in which she mocked Muslim children engaged in a Finnish Easter tradition on Palm Sunday. Kiemunki said she requested the investigation to refute widespread allegations that her posts were racist, and to silence what she called online trolls who have attacked her over the comments.
Local Tampere Finns Party politician Terhi Kiemunki issued a statement Friday in which she said she had requested a police investigation of Facebook posts widely perceived as racist.
Kiemunki, who is also a parliamentary aide to Finns Party MP Lea Mäkipää, said that in the weeks following her posts, many politicians, media outlets and private individuals had publicly denounced as racist her Facebook comments and other material she contributed to the Uusi Suomi blog.
“The media and people appearing in the media have used words such as ‘abusive’, ‘mocking’ and ‘frightening’. Internet trolls have written innumerable comments and blogs that have portrayed me as an extremely evil person,” Kiemunki wrote in the press release.
“I have filed a request for an investigation with preliminary investigators, asking them to determine whether my original writings were racist or bore the hallmark of any crime. After this we can calmly examine the trolls’ claims that have been communicated via the media,” she declared.
Comments about condoms and Allah
On Palm Sunday, Kiemunki took to Facebook on Sunday to post a series of comments about children whom she observed going door to door as part of the local tradition in which Easter witches visit homes to bless them in exchange for treats. The tradition has ancient roots in both Sweden and Karelia.
Seeing children dressed in hijabs engaging in the Easter tradition, Kiemunki asked on her wall, “Is this some kind of integration [programme] where Muslim children go around giving Easter blessings? Or does Allah also have some kind of anniversary today?”
“It’s a pity I don’t have any condoms …” she added, which some readers took to mean that she would have given them to the children’s parents.
“They didn’t come to us, it would have been funny to hear what kind of rhyme they recited or whether they would have just settled for ‘Allahu akbar’ (sic),” she also wrote.
The comments triggered a deluge of criticism, following which Kiemunki returned to Facebook to issue an apology.
Kiemunki has also served on the party’s national council and its leadership board. She was also a candidate in last year’s parliamentary elections.
Her boss, MP Lea Mäkipää distanced herself from her aide’s comments but said she wanted to giver her another chance. She asked Kiemunki to provide a written pledge not to repeat her actions.
Responding to Kiemunki’s request, police said that they rarely receive calls from members of the public to investigate their own actions.

PAKISTAN – On March 27, 2016, thousands gathered in Islamabad’s twin-city Rawalpindi to commemorate the Chehlum of Mumtaz Qadri, marking the 40th day after his death. Qadri was executed for murdering Salman Taseer, governor of the province of Punjab, in 2011, who was opposing Pakistan’s infamous blasphemy laws. Many radical elements in Pakistan welcomed the murder of Taseer and celebrated Qadri as a hero before and a martyr after his death.
On this very Sunday, thousands of Qadri’s supporters from all over the country marched on the parliament in Islamabad, under heavy resistance of police forces. They managed to reach D-Chowk, the square right in front of the parliament, where they set up a sit-in in, demanding the establishment of Shariah law, the release of arrested Sunni clerics, and guaranteed enforcement of the country’s blasphemy laws.
Don’t worry Recep, as more Muslims enter Germany, the more likely your idea of what is freedom of speech will eventually be instituted there.
Satirists offer Erdogan ‘dirty deal’ on mocking video
Published: 31 Mar 2016 08:45 GMT+02:00
“If Erdogan wants to hear criticism, he should watch extra3. If he wants no criticism, he should meet the Chancellor [Angela Merkel],” presenter Christian Ehring joked.
Merkel has come in for tough criticism from opponents for overlooking Turkey’s poor press freedom and human rights record in her eagerness to strike a deal with Turkey to take back refugees arriving in Europe illegally.
For each Syrian that Turkey takes back from the Greek islands, the EU will resettle one recognized Syrian refugee from a Turkish camp.
And it was on this theme that the satirists decided to press home.
“For every joke a Turkish comedian is allowed to make, we will retract one,” Ehring said in a more serious moment addressing media freedom in Turkey.
Let’s face the facts, this is how Islam has remained unchanged over 1400 years………
Muslims over the centuries, influenced by non-islamic cultures, wanting to become more like those ‘golden rule’ societies, run smack dab into Islam 101’ers, who point to the post-hijra portion of the koran that abrogates what came before it, and take matters into their own hands. It’s been that way since its inception.
Anti-terror police called in to investigate murder of Rochdale imam after ISIS-linked material found during police raids
Former Imam Jalal Uddin, pictured, died after being found with serious head injuries in a Rochdale playground
- Jalal Uddin was attacked as he walked through a children’s park last month
- Post mortem examination revealed the 64-year-old died from a head injury
- Greater Manchester Police have arrested three people over the killing
- Counter terrorism officers called in after ISIS material found during raids
Anti-terror police have been called in to investigate the death of Rochdale imam Jalal Uddin.
The investigation into Mr Uddin’s death has been escalated after the discovery of material linked to the ISIS during a series of raids last week.
Mr Uddin had made efforts to turn local youngsters away from radical Islam.
The 64-year-old was attacked as he walked through a children’s park last month. He was taken to hospital but died later.
Mr Uddin had been to evening prayers at the Bilal Jamia Masjid Mosque the night of his death.
He was on his way to visit a friend when the attack happened close to South Street in the Wardleworth area of the town on February 18.
A post mortem examination revealed he died from a head injury.
Detectives investigating the death raided three properties last week, and so far three people have been arrested.
Just another sick example of personal views/sensibilities trumping medical science.
(stock photo of a ‘patient burka’ but you get THE picture)
This is like the swimming pool jihad, hygiene is of little concern for those wanting to where clothes in the pool, and they’ll use all the muscle they can get to bend the staff to appeasing their demands.I am assuming that it’s standard ‘operating’ procedures to suspend someone who is (in this case falsely) charged with discrimination, and the good news is that this woman has left the hospital. The bad news is, she’ll just pop up somewhere else.
Writing in a blog post on a Czech website, he added: ‘If the medics in a developed country are afraid to draw attention to threats to patient safety because of accusations of racism, then it is an example of the absurdity of multiculturalism.’
A source last night told The Sun: ‘Dr Rogozov won’t tolerate anything that puts patients at risk. It has nothing to do with the medics being Muslims. It’s his fear they let their beliefs come before the patients.’
Consultant is suspended by hospital after confronting surgeon who planned to operate in her hijab despite it being against safety regulations
- Dr Vladislav Rogozov confronted Muslim surgeon over her headscarf
- She was planning on wearing it during operation – breaching strict rules
- Complaint was then raised against Dr Rogozov and he was suspended
- Hospital probe eventually concluded he was right to ask woman to change

Dr Vladislav Rogozov (pictured) claimed that a Muslim surgeon walked out of an operation because she was asked to remove her religious headscarf
A hospital has suspended a consultant after he claimed that a Muslim surgeon walked out of an operation because she was asked to remove her religious headscarf.
Dr Vladislav Rogozov, 46, claimed in an online blog that he confronted her before the surgery when he realised she planned to wear the Islamic hijab which was against safety regulations.
But the unnamed surgeon refused, walking out of the operation and forcing staff at Sheffield’s Royal Hallamshire Hospital to find a replacement.
She later accused Czech-born Dr Rogozov, who has worked in Britain for ten years, of racial discrimination.
After a hospital investigation supported the consultant in his enforcement of the dress code, the Muslim surgeon left the hospital.
Religious headscarfs are ‘excluded in areas such as theatre, where they could present a health and cross-infection hazard’, according to the strict dress code.
At the time, the incident was not made public.
But Dr Rogozov, a consultant anaesthetist, was suspended last month for revealing details of the incident, which happened in 2013, as well as other surgeons’ more recent behaviour in an interview with an Internet blog.
He said: ‘I came into the operating room, where I met the surgeon, a woman shrouded in a Muslim headscarf. I immediately stopped the operation of the hall and asked her to put down her scarf and replace it with the prescribed headgear.
‘After a long discussion held with respect, decency and factual arguments, the surgeon refused and left the operating room. We managed to subsequently find another surgeon who performed the operation.
Mind you, this is the same country in which tens of thousands of people poured into the streets to honor a man executed by the state for murdering a politician who wanted to end blasphemy laws.
International Appeal for Justice and Compassion: The Heartbreaking Case of Shafqat Emmanuel and Shagfuta Kausar: By Farrukh Saif Foundation
Introduction: The Regular Abuse of Pakistan’s Controversial Blasphemy Law
Blasphemy laws have always been a controversial subject for discussion in Pakistan. These laws have put hundreds of members of minority communities behind the bars. It has commonly been observed that section 295- A/B/C of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan has been badly misused by the majority community.
Even discussion and dialogue in relation to this controversial law has taken the lives of two prominent Pakistani politicians, Governor of Punjab Salman Taseer and Christian Minister Shahbaz Bhatti. Both were assassinated in broad daylight in the capital of Pakistan. Similarly many of the victims of these laws were killed in court rooms, jails or in lockups by the extreme elements of Pakistani society.
Since 2009 [we] the Farrukh Saif Foundation (Previously known as World Vision in Progress) have been defending the victims of the Blasphemy Law. During that time we have found that in most cases people had been falsely and even maliciously accused. In some cases they accusations were solely the result of personal vendettas or rumor mongering.
The Pakistani Government has failed to provide security to such victims or to the communities in which they live. The Government may be trying to handle these matters diligently, but it is not handling them effectively. Radicalism in society has reached new and frightening levels and matters regularly spiral out of control and result in vicious acts of mob justice. Many times it has been observed that law enforcement agencies and even the institutions charged with delivering justice have failed in their duty to provide justice due to the enormous pressure that is applied by vociferous and aggressive extreme elements. The atmosphere of intimidation and fear within Pakistan is palpable!
Shafqat is regularly getting sick with the bed sores and recently 16 blood bottles were used to control is PH level. He cannot go to the washroom nor do anything without assistance. It is so difficult for a paralyzed man to handle all his personal issues while in the jail.
Appeal Lodged by the Farrukh Saif Foundation – and an Appeal to the International Community
Since the beginning of this case the Farrukh Saif Foundation (previously known as World Vision in Progress) has been protesting against the attitude of the Lower Court. We have submitted the application in the High Court that the Addition Session judge had already made up his mind in advance to give death sentence to the couple. The High Court of Lahore referred back our petition with the direction to expedite the matter.
We would request that the International Community and people of all nations speak out against this terrible and cruel injustice. We especially request that people pray for Shafqat and Shagufta.
In the Month of April the High Court of Lahore will hear the appeal that we filed against the Death Sentence.
