This is a classic example of Leftism trumping one’s own religious group, and identity, and supposed values…

Bari Weiss shamelessly negates the ADL’s 2014 global Antisemitism data

We see it in politics all of the time. Supposed Catholic Democrats champion the murdering of the unborn even up until the time of actually giving birth, though their religion condemns all abortions in no uncertain terms. They are all natural liars, something frowned upon by their perspective faiths. It just goes to show that for the Democrat, ideology is always 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

Bari Weiss shamelessly negates the ADL’s 2014 global Antisemitism data https://bit.ly/2pluyDe showing the overwhelming excess occurrence of extreme Muslim Jew-hatred worldwide vs. non-Muslims in her new book https://www.amazon.com/How-Fight-Anti-Semitism-Bari-Weiss/dp/0593136055

The ADL study (download here: https://bit.ly/2pluyDe) rivets upon the prevalence of “extreme Antisemitism” defined as agreeing with at least 6 out of 11 Antisemitic stereotypes. Here are the most striking findings demonstrating the overwhelming excess occurrence of extreme Muslim Antisemitism worldwide:

The world’s 16 most Antisemitic countries are all in the Muslim Middle East, where 74% to 93%  exhibit extreme Antisemitism—Judea-Samaria/Gaza 93%; Iraq 92%; Yemen 88%; Algeria 87%; Libya 87%; Tunisia 86%; Kuwait 82%; Bahrain 81%; Jordan 81%; Morocco 80%; Qatar 80%; United Arab Emirates 80%; Lebanon 78%; Oman 76%; Egypt 75%; Saudi Arabia 74%

The prevalence of extreme Antisemitism, globally, by religious affiliation—Muslim, 49%; Christian, 24%; No religion, 21%; Hindu, 19%; Buddhist, 17%

Weiss’s reductio ad absurdum, from HOW TO FIGHT ANTISEMITISM, p. 141, IGNORES ALL THESE DATA, above—the entire thrust of the survey—and states:

“Given that Antisemitism is a normative message in a large part of the world, it should not come as any surprise that a 2014 ADL survey, which looked at attitudes toward Jews in one hundred co, found that only 54 percent of the global population has heard of the Holocaust. That’s a staggering enough fact on its own. Until you read that only 8 percent of respondents in the Middle East and North Africa had heard of the Holocaust and believed it had actually happened”
