Israeli PM Netanyahu was entirely correct in banning the two miscreant Dem congresswomen entry into Israel. Their mission was to create “events” once inside the Jewish state, now they’re reduced to tweeting and relying upon other cracked voices to give support. What’s noticeably absent (h/t Brian of London) are voices of support from both House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer.
Tlaib and Omar have an agenda, to further delegitimize the Jewish state at every turn. They would have used their time in Israel to foment more hatred of Israel. Let them bloviate from DC, and their useful stooges in the media, Israel is under no moral imperative to placate Jew-hating/Israel hating miscreants. They could have come a week earlier with the bipartisan group of lawmakers, but they didn’t. We know why.
Sanders: If Israel Doesn’t Want Members of Congress Visiting, ‘Maybe They Don’t Want American Money’
On Thursday’s broadcast of CNN’s “AC360,” 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) reacted to Israel barring Representatives Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) from visiting Israel by stating that if Israel wants to ban members of Congress, then “maybe they don’t want American money as well.”
Sanders said, “You have two members of the United States Congress who are denied access to a country, Israel, which we spend many billions of dollars a year supporting. And if Mr. Netanyahu and others in Israel don’t want members of the U.S. Congress to visit them, maybe they don’t want American money as well.”
