Yle: MP Hussein al-Taee returns to work, participates in panel discussion in Karelia
The Sdp MP makes his first official appearance at the ethnic festival ‘Faces’ panel discussion, Svenska Yle says.
MP Hussein al-Taee (sd) is returning from his sick leave, says Svenska Yle in Swedish.
Al-Taee will take part in a panel discussion of the Faces Ethnofestival in Karelia on Sunday, July 28th. This is the first official appearance of MP Al-Tae after his sick leave, festival organizers tell Svenska Yle. AL-TAEE was hospitalized at the end of April and after the bailout, the SDP told MP that he would be on sick leave. At the end of June, it was reported that al-Taee’s sick leave would continue until 21 July.
Prior to his sick leave, al-Taee was featured on his old Facebook posts. In his fascinating writings, he used derogatory language, including on Jews, gays, Sunnis, Kurds and Somalis.
In addition to al-Tae, Foreign Minister Pekka Haavisto (Green) and Mika Aaltola , Director of Global Security at the Institute for International Affairs, will take part in Faces’ policy panel discussion, says the festival on its Facebook page.
