Going, going …gone
After decades of self-hate France has been colonised by foreign civilisations – Political journalist
French Journalist and essayist, Éric Zemmour draws a damning portrait of modern day France, broadcaster Europe 1 reports.
Interviewed by Sonia Mabrouk on Wednesday, Zemmour says that France is in “a tragic and quite terrifying moment” in which “all the French crisis concentrate in one: ours”.
“I wanted to dive deeper into the history of the country to see what had led to this,” says the polemicist, who’s new book Destin Français was released Wednesday in bookstores.
But Zemmour does have an idea what the reasons are behind the phenomenon that his country’s “Territories are colonised by foreign civilisations”.
“I have the impression that we have arrived after several decades of mistakes, big nonsense and self-hatred, we have come to the end of this road,” he says in the Europe 1 interview.
“France has been white and Christian, except that today religion is no longer the only determinant of the nation,” he adds.
