One would think that someone who has been the victim of repeated death threats would be granted armed protection…
Police could grant Tommy Robinson ‘armed protection’ for Manchester event
Greater Manchester Police might have to provide a police escort for Tommy Robinson.
Former EDL-Leader now turned bestselling author Robinson broke the internet when he announced a book launch event in Manchester to celebrate his latest book.
Greater Manchester Police have confirmed that they are aware of the event and have been made aware of death threats made to Robinson, a source this evening has told this outlet that they could consider providing an ‘armed protection’ detail for Robinson.
This level of protection is usually reserved for foreign dignitaries, government ministers or diplomats and it would mean a ‘ring of steel’ would be placed around the event.
The event on the 3rd of November 3rd will offer attendees the opportunity to ask Robinson questions and to find out more about his new book.
