Israeli Border Guard Police Wounded in Terror Attack Near Beit Omar
Three Israeli Border Guard Police officers were wounded Sunday afternoon in a ramming attack on Highway 60 near the Arab village of Beit Omar, in Judea.
The attack took place on the Gush Etzion-Jerusalem segment of the highway, according to Hatzolah Etzion’s Judea and Samaria division.
All three of the injured police officers are in their early 20s, and are reported to be in fair to good condition. They were treated at the scene and evacuated to Sha’are Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem.
The terrorist was shot by IDF soldiers at the scene. Unconfirmed reports say the attacker is dead.
