The cold blooded would-be assasin identifed his targets surveying the scene for up to 30 minutes before he detonated his device.
And the incident, which happened just a stone’s throw away from the Cornithia Hotel near Teresa Boulevard in Budapest, was timed with precision.
Police have revealed CCTV footage for up to 30 minutes before the explosion that seriously injured two police officers.
It shows the cold blooded attacker surveying the scene walking up and down the street as he plots his evil strategy.
According to reports, after he detonated the device the attacker, who wore a distinctive hat similar to the Brussels airport bomber, went back to check his work and even stepped over the injured officers.
Police have seized 145 camera recordings from around the neighbourhood which would have captured evidence before, during and after the attack.
Now they believe the attacker may have even been behind a plan to get police to the spot.
