Ben Carson Donald Trump

DANIEL GREENFIELD: CARSON IN PRIVATE TALK WITH TRUMP SAYS ”HE REALLY DIDN’T BELIEVE IN THOSE OUTLANDISH THINGS”…….

Which ones were they Ben?

In a way the Trump campaign is like the Dem’s campaign in passing Obamacare, ”you have to elect it to see what’s it really means”…….

In other words, the voter is reduced to participating in a blindfolded crap shoot.

CARSON ENDORSED TRUMP BECAUSE HE DOESN’T REALLY “BELIEVE THOSE THINGS”

While the punditsphere is consumed with Michelle Fields and fistfights at Trump’s rallies, Ben Carson suggested something far more disturbing about the candidate he endorsed.

In an interview with The Hill, Carson recalled the process by which he came around to supporting the controversial front-runner, who was once his rival for the GOP nomination.

“I needed to know that he could listen to other people, that he could change his opinions, and that some of the more outlandish things that he’s said, that he didn’t really believe those things,” Carson said.

When asked which statements Trump might back away from, Carson demurred.

“I’ll let him talk about that because I don’t think it’s fair for me to relay a private conversation,” he said.

This is the New York Times issue all over again. Except it’s coming from the guy who just endorsed Trump. And yes, we do deserve to know it.

There are three scenarios here

1. Trump told Carson he doesn’t believe the things he promises to do

2. Carson is lying about what Trump said

3. Carson misunderstood what Trump said

The sooner this is cleared up. The better. Which means Trump and Carson should clarify exactly what was discussed. And this puts another spin on Carson’s famous comments about Trump.
