Germany can expect a terror on the scale of the Paris massacres by ‘completely brutalised’ returnees from the Syrian conflict, a government report has warned.
The confidential internal report by the Interior Ministry was leaked by Bild newspaper.
It says Germany is a ‘declared target’ for fanatics who want to copy the bomb and gun attacks of November 13 last year on the streets of Germany.
Specifically, the report warns of attacks in the style of the Paris outrage using bombs, firearms and explosives.
It states: ‘Germany is declared an actual target of Jihadist motivated violence which can come at any time in the form of acts of violence against state and civil institutions as well as civil servants and civilians’.
