A caveat to my US readers.
Le Pen mentions (slaps) the U.S. a few times as well in her blistering speech to Germany’s Merkel and France’s Hollande, but it has to be given some context. For one, US leaders over the decades have been pushing European leaders to develop a more single integrated political “union”, at the expense of common sense and reason. Hence the rise of the EU as a political energized entity.
Wanting a single address in Europe for many US politicians and analysts (out of political expediency), is more preferable to a continent of nations states where people are ruled by themselves. But this only explains in part, what I believe Le Pen has against the US. Her other views about the US, “world dominance” bla bla bla, are just plain loony, they are not valid criticisms.
But her words directed against the leaders of France and Germany, tyrants in every sense of the word, whom Obama no doubt, holds with the greatest of esteem for their socialist policies and hard fisted rule by decree, are spot on.
NOTE: Also, her willingness to court Iran in spite of what we all know about Iran, and what it has stated it will do, is very worrisome indeed.
