Support for the Social Democrats (S) continues to decrease. It shows a non-statistically significant measurement that YouGov, commissioned by Metro. The party gets 24.7 percent of the votes – a figure which last month stood at 26.1 percent. This means that the Alliance’s electoral support (38.8 percent) is now greater than the Red-Green (37.4 percent).
– It is a rejection of the government and Stefan leaves (S), they do not deliver what voters hoped for. The Social Democrats are the only party that has such low figures without discussing party ledarbyte and I think that is inevitable eventually, says Stina Morian, political analyst.
The Sweden Democrats (SD) remains the third largest party and get 20.1 percent, which is the highest figure SD’ve ever had in a poll. Support for the party has increased by 0.4 percentage points since the latest YouGov survey in May.
More here.
The Norwegian polling institute Sentio Research also published their June numbers today and their poll also showed increased support for the Sweden Democrats with SD numbers landing at 22,1%
In this poll, Social Democrats are still in the lead at 23,9%, followed by Moderate party at 23,8%
Sentio Research has for the last few elections been the polling institute whose polling numbers have been closest to the actual election results. Polling isn’t election, but the numbers are still interesting – And probably frightful for the other parties.
