PAKISTANI BENEFITS SCAMMERS ARE FINALLY SENGTENCED IN UK COURT…….

Lock em up, then deport them when their time is up.

If not for the welfare state, they would never have been attracted to the UK.

Two couples who swapped partners as part of a sham marriage scam to stay in the UK and swindle more benefits are sentenced

  • Pakistani couple wanted to stay in the UK after coming here as students
  • They used sham marriage fixer to hook them up with Czech couple
  • The couples swapped partners and planned marriages on the same day
  • But registrar became suspicious and both ceremonies were raided

Two couples who swapped partners for the day for sham marriages were arrested at the altar after a registrar noticed that ‘the groom was on edge and the bride was trying too hard’.

Muhammad Hanif and his girlfriend Huma Aslam, from Pakistan, planned to each be married off to Czech couple Michael Mankos and Katerina Gerychova so the non-EU pair could live in Britain.

But the ceremonies were interrupted by immigration officials and the two couples – and others who took part in the charade – have now been sentenced.

Newcastle Crown Court heard Hanif, 23, and Aslam, 26, first came to the UK from Pakistan in 2011 and 2012 as students.

When their visas ran out they contacted sham marriage fixers Waseem Shah, 30, and Ivan Holub, 24, who told them they could arrange marriages with European nationals so they could stay in the UK.

Mankos and his partner Gerychova were recruited to marry the pair for a fee of around £2,500.

The court heard how if non-European nationals marry European nationals, they are given the same rights to work, study and claim benefits in the UK.

  1. “The court heard how if non-European nationals marry European nationals, they are given the same rights to work, study and claim benefits in the UK.”

Why does the court have to be told this at all? If it is not common knowledge for the court to know its own laws – something is very, very wrong.
