TWO MEMORIALS IN HELSINKI FINLAND FOR MURDERED CHARLIE HEDBO STAFF……..

There are two events today to observe the murders in France.

This one at 6pm across from the downtown Stockman store at Vanha Ylioppilastalo. The big white students building. Je suis Charlie

And the other one is at the French Embassy from 4:0pm – 5pm Itäinen puistotie 13, 00140 Helsinki, Finland

I will try to be at both.

15: 40: Cold wet rainy awful weather but I have arrived early and got a parking spot.

16:10: First two members of the French Embassy came outside to say thank you.

16:30: A lady named Miriam spoke and we sang Where have all the flowers gone.

16: 45: There were about 250 people there to mourn those murdered and to show their respect to not only the French people during this difficult time, but to show their unity for freedom and freedom of the press.

17:02: It was very moving. I teared up. Someone inside the French Embassy watched us from a 2nd story Window. We all truly felt “Je suis Charlie. “

17:12: We held lit candles and signs of support for these terrorist victims.

19:00: We walked to the big church square and took photos. Lots of caring young people.
