They called him an ‘extremist’, when they should have called him just an Islam 101’er. To be an Islamic 101’er (fundamentalist) is to be an extremist in the classical western sense of the word. He’ll more than likely get some hush money from the feeble week-in-the-knees Beeb, which of course will go to the furthering of Islamic goals in the UK.

A hardline imam at a mosque where the killers of soldier Lee Rigby worshipped is suing the BBC, saying it described him as an ‘extremist’.

Shakeel Begg, 37, is taking legal action after presenter Andrew Neil said on the Sunday Politics Show that the imam had praised jihad as ‘the greatest of deeds’.

Mr Begg, head of the Lewisham Islamic Centre in South-East London, is demanding libel damages and that the BBC doesn’t again call him an ‘extremist’ who ‘encourages religious violence’.

  1. Yes, the love, openess and awareness that islam brings just shines through him as it does through so many islamic imams, sheiks, muftis, puftis, ayatollahs etc.
