The Local: A police spokesman said there were “problems“ figuring out who belonged to which camp. Around 4,000 police recruited from all over Germany were deployed to keep the two marches apart.
This is not to say that no one from the Legida side committed any act of violence, that’s not the point here. The point I’m making is that The Local is leading the reader to come to only one conclusion, that only Legida protesters were involved in the violence, when in fact, the police are mentioned in the article stating that they themselves had difficulty in determining who belonged to which side.
