Question: What’s a sports show doing addressing issues outside of sports in the first place?
BARKLEY TO CRITICS: THEY CAN ‘KISS MY ASS’
On Thursday “Inside the NBA” on TNT, panelists Charles Barkley and Kenny Smith discussed the issues of Garner, race and Ferguson in light of Barkley’s recent remarks on police and accusations of police brutality motivated by race.
During that discussion, Barkley dismissed his critics.
“Some people are going to agree with me,” Barkley said. “And some people are going to kiss my ass.”
NOTE: One other thing worth mentioning, is the need to look outside of the box we are currently in. The radical (Saul Alinsky type) Left is using this situation to herd people in multiple directions. Sowing angst, anxiety, mistrust and fear, they further pit one side against the other.
This is classic cultural marxism.
While not every policeman is 100% correct on the job, these situations shouldn’t be used to indict the entire police force and our local officials. You have to look at the bigger picture here, miscreants and malcontents are purposefully trying to muddy the waters and create a situation in which the civil society is further ruptured, I refuse to play along with that mentality.
Look at each individual case calmly and rationally, do not infuse preconceived notions into everything you see and make a decision based on that prism held view. Look at what these radical Leftists are trying to do, and counter their moves, don’t play into it.
