NORWEGIAN PROGRESS PARTY DEMONIZES OTHER NORDIC ANTI-MASS IMMIGRATION/ISLAMIZATION PARTIES IN PROTEST TO INTERNATIONAL MEDIA ABOUT BREIVIK LINK…….

In trying to get the media to stop demonizing the Progress Party, he ends up demonizing other parties not unlike his own. What a jerk.

“It is unreasonable to compare the Progress Party with the Danish People’s Party, the Sweden Democrats and the True Finns,”  he added.

The parties mentioned are not ”anti-immigrant”, but against mass immigration without any controls to facilitate assimilation, which has been btw, draining taxpayer filled, state coffers.

Norway’s Progress Party has called an international press conference to protest articles linking them to Norwegian terrorist Anders Breivik, and depicting them as anti-Immigrant populist party.“The debate about our connection to Anders Behring Breivik in Norway dropped away a long time ago in Norway because we pointed out that he resigned because he was disappointed that the party was not what he thought it was,” the party’s deputy leader Ketil Solvik-Olsen told TV2.

“We want to emphasize that while we want stricter asylum policies, we are not, as is often claimed in the media, against immigration.”

The party has enlisted the help of Frank Aarebrot, professor of comparative politics at Bergen University.

“It’s important that the Progress Party get a fair treatment, and I do not they will get that while they’re bunched together with Breivik,” Aarebrot, who is a member of the Labour Party, told Aftenposten.

  1. There are differences between different parties. Norwegian Progress Party is more free market oriented than any of the other parties mentioned here. The Finns party and the Danish People’s Party probably resemble one another in many ways. Both are more center or center left in their economic policies.

Swedish Democrats, on the other hand, has been a single issue party for the most part. Mass immigration has been the key issue for them.

The differences are not fundamental, but result from different historical development in respective countries.

From PR perspective it does not help any of those parties if they are associated with similar party in another country. The media is quick to report links to “fascist” parties no matter how harmless or innocent they are.

    1. Thanks Vasarahammer. Oh I understand the differences between the parties, what I was trying to convey is that, internationally, the media has been slamming all three of these parties mentioned for the exact same reason as they have been of the Progress party, but yet none of them are against immigration per say, just uncontrollable mass immigration. The NPP is trying to shone a different light on itself at the expense of others and the truth.
