Get bent.
I saw this story earlier yesterday and now upon thinking about it and talking it over with Vlad, this is indeed something worth blogging about. I agree with the Vladster, ”Exactly when did everyone seem to get the right to force every private organization to submit to their whims?”
Who cares if the lavish church was the wedding of their dreams, I’m sure that there is a Nazi couple somewhere who thinks that getting married in a synagogue would be the wedding of their dreams as well, and would most certainly love to sue the Jews for not providing them the venue.
He added, “It upsets me because I want it so much – a big lavish ceremony, the whole works, I just don’t think it is going to happen straight away.”

Welcome to being an adult. Adults do always get exactly what they want. If you want to use a venue that belongs to someone else then you have to pay the price and follow the rules. These guys are all about themselves and forcing their rebellious natures on others.
Personally I don’t understand them wanting to marry at the altar of a God they oppose.
Somehow I don’t think we’ll be seeing any mosques sued for refusing to marry gay couples!
This was the thing that Christians feared the most about Gay marriage laws, but the Church of England were told that they would be safe and would not have to perform homosexual marriage services.
So why the lawsuit? This should be thrown out of court immediately.
“Aren’t Christians meant to forgive and accept and love?”
1. Christians can forgive those who trespass (harm) against them. So do these homosexuals admit they are deliberately harming Christians?
2. Christians are supposed to love and forgive, but only if the sinner or trespasser repents. And then only the repentant sinner is given love. The original immoral and unnatural act of sodomy still remains a sin, and cannot be forgiven or loved. It is so for robbery, murder or any other sin – forgiveness and love for the repentant sinner but abhor the sin.
Such glib statements that Christians must always love and forgive, show little or no understanding of anything. And I mean that. Western civilisation is for the most part, the building of the church in its widest sense – whether art, music, science, architecture, jurisprudence, theology and philosophy.
If this couples understanding of Christianity is what they state, then if for no other reason then that, I oppose it on the grounds that anyone lacking on a fundamental understanding of Christianity, has no business to be married in a church, or anywhere, for that matter. The only consolation I have is that their consummation will bear no fruit.
