Hypocrisy on all levels, they’re unstunned of course as well.
Norway (though not an EU member) is one of the European countries that ban kosher slaughter, due to Jewish kosher laws that reject the use of stunning. To show you the hypocrisy of such banning, the Norwegians actively hunt whale and seal without the use of stunning, using the worst of the worst methods of killing an animal.
NOTE: Norway happens to be one of the principle advocates for it, is to help save its territorial fishing waters from an increase in the seal population.
