EU Euro Bailout Spain Timo Soini

TIMO SOINI SAYS FINNS SHOULDN’T BE EXPECTED TO PAY FOR THE MISTAKES OF SPANISH BANKS……

It also has a lot to do with the Spanish bloated bureaucracy and massive welfare entitlements, as well as their banks lending money to the banks of other EU member states with bloated bureaucracies and massive welfare entitlements, who in turn lent money to other EU member states with bloated bureaucracies and massive welfare entitlements.

Timo Soini: “This is like cooking a frog, doing it little by little, so that the frog doesn’t notice it’s being cooked.”

Soini: Not for Finns to pay for mistakes of Spanish banks

Finns Party leader Timo Soini has issued a demand for the Finnish Parliament to be convened to debate what he says are significant changes being made to the eurozone’s permanent rescue fund, the EFSF.

[..]

“It is not for the Finnish taxpayer to pay for the mistakes and actions of Spanish or Cypriot banks. It is totally morally indefensible,” said Soini.

  1. The problem with the EU model is that each State wants it’s cake and to east it too. In other Western State based federations eg the USA and Australia the market generally dictates which banks, airlines and other large corporations succeed. To become very large they either have to dominate the market in one State or become national or multinational. In the EU this doesn’t work because every nation considers it a matter of national prestige and great import to have their own banks, airlines etc (a second problem is obviously the blurring of the line between public and state owned companies with the general public often forced to bail out private corporations when in trouble but when successful never receiving profits which instead go tonshate holders). This means that a domestic Greek banking problem is suffendly German taxpayers problem and because of the single currency the less well managed and regulated (corrupt) southern European states and companies can’t take usual means of recovery eg devaluing the currency to make exportsore attractive.

We’ve known the disparity of Europe since Weber’s theory of the Protestant ethic. This grand mistake is really another facet if the great misconception, like multiculturalism of cultural relativism. If the disparity between north and south is this bad today imagine when Eurabia is made public and Europe is suddenly meant to pay official jizra to north Africa?

  2. I am glad to see the hypno-toad is back. One of the funniest graphics I have seen on any blog on the planet. Always makes me laugh.
