Obama obamablunders US politics

OBAMA RACE BAITS THE SHOOTING DEATH OF BLACK MALE IN FLORIDA…….

This huckster is playing the situation like a finely tuned instrument.

First of all, being president of the United States affords the holder of that office a major impact on the nation’s public discourse. which means using prudence at all times when weighing in on matters not directly related to the politics of the day, and especially so when discussing a crime, and one that involves a minority being killed.

A president should never use such a situation like this to advance his own ideological viewpoints, and in the case of this clown, promote his own cult of personality. President Obama knows absolutely nothing (none of us do) of the exact events involving a male of mixed Hispanic/White background (and reportedly has black relatives) arrested for shooting a Black male a few days ago.

In speaking to the media, Pres.Obama wraps himself in the story by stating if he had a boy, he would have looked like Trayvon Martin, the 17 year old shot by George Zimmerman. Obama, as the U.S. president, makes this whole sad scenario about race, when he himself hasn’t a clue yet what the entire facts are. As I said before, no one really does as of yet.

Pres.Obama is demagoguing the issue for the sake of inflaming the public, when he really should be -if he really thinks he must say something- tamping down tensions and the over- the-top rhetoric by some of the well known race baiters, like Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton. Saying that ”the nation should do some soul searching” already impugns society (he means white society) with a sense of guilt for something they have absolutely nothing to do with. What he should have said was,

“Since all the facts to the case have not yet been disclosed, it would be wrong to weigh in on the matter, especially since it might hinder the ongoing investigation. I have trust in Florida’s law officials to conduct a thorough investigation and for the criminal justice department, if need be, to prosecute the case.”

That’s it. If I, a lone blogger in far away Finland can come up with a decent response, you’ll have to ask yourself why didn’t Obama, who clearly was fielded a question he was waiting for. This man really disgusts me.

UPDATE: From BREITBART.COM: “It’s not a question of who that young man looked like. Any young American of any ethnic background should be safe, period. We should all be horrified no matter what the ethnic background,” Gingrich said. “Is the President suggesting that if it had been a white who had been shot that would be ok because it didn’t look like him?”

Obama urges ‘soul-searching’ after black teen’s killing

Weighing his words carefully, the country’s first African American president pleaded for national “soul searching” after 17-year-old Trayvon Martin was shot dead in a Florida gated community by a white Hispanic neighborhood watch guard.

“Obviously, this is a tragedy. I can only imagine what these parents are going through. And when I think about this boy, I think about my own kids,” Obama, the father of two young girls, told reporters in the White House Rose Garden.

Up to 20,000 people demanding justice rallied late Thursday in the Florida town of Sanford where Martin was killed by George Zimmerman in late February.

Protesters have claimed that Martin’s killing is just the last example of racial profiling and unjust treatment of blacks by the country’s criminal justice system.

And the mostly African American crowd demanded the arrest of Zimmerman, who says he acted in self-defense after a confrontation with the teenager.

Martin’s parents “are right to expect that all of us as Americans are going to take this with the seriousness it deserves, and that we’re going to get to the bottom of exactly what happened,” Obama said.

“I think all of us have to do some soul searching to figure out how does something like this happen. And that means that we examine the laws and the context for what happened.

  1. This is the “beer summit” all over again, though it is not new any more. Who knows, maybe the dead teen was wronged. Why does the President need to comment on a local crime? Obama sounds like the mayor, not the President. Could it be because it happened in Florida, blacks are lead by Al Sharpton, and Obama needs Florida to win in November? Complicates things for Obama that the shooter is part Hispanic, has the last name Zimmerman, and has black family members. Those are important voter groups in FL, too.

  2. “Who knows, maybe the dead teen was wronged”

You can’t get more wronged than being killed. Minding your own business and somebody runs up to you and puts a bullet in you is about as wronged as you can get.

    1. Totally depends on the facts to the story, not media spin, I can’t be lulled into accepting their version straight away.

  3. True. The facts must be out before a judgement can be made, but it does look suspicious. If somebody is walking peacably home and some stranger comes running at them and aggressively blocks their way there is no way they should stand there and take it.

If some stranger ran at me late one night and stopped me from going about my lawful business by starting to make demands into my face he’d be likely to be dropped with a palm heel blow up under the chin followed by a downward fist on the windpipe.

I’d rather take my risks with the law afterwards than with some out of control nut job on the street.

I can understand the predicament it looks like the dead teenager was in.
