EGYPTIAN CLERIC HAPPY OVER DEATH OF COPTIC POPE: ‘LET HIM GO TO HELL’…….

To be filed under: Islam a religion of tolerance and of peace??

NOTE: For the fundamentalist (islam 101 Muslim) Muslim, is always tolerant, is always peaceful, but always the last one standing.

Egyptian Cleric Wagdi Ghoneim Praises Allah for the Death of Pope Shenouda III:

Translated by Memri:

“May Allah Exact Revenge from Him in the Hellfire”

Following are excerpts from a statement by Egyptian cleric Wagdi Ghoneim, which was posted on the Internet on March 18, 2012 :

Praise be to Allah. With the grace of Allah, the head of unbelief and polytheism, known as Shenouda, died yesterday, may Allah exact revenge from him. God’s worshippers and the trees and the animals were all relieved by his death. Egypt is relieved by his [death], because he generated sectarian strife.

[…]

This dead accursed criminal, known as Shenouda, was told that the Koran says, in Surat Al-Maida: “And [beware the day] when Allah will say: Oh Jesus, Son of Mary, did you say to the people: Take me and my mother as gods beside Allah?” [Shenouda] said: “We don’t take Christ and his mother as gods beside Allah. He Is God.”

The truth is that he was very clear in his enmity to Islam. When the Muslim Brothers would chant their slogan: “The Koran is our constitution,” he would respond: “The New Testament is our constitution.” When they would say: “Death for the sake of Allah is our highest aspiration,” he would say: “Death for the sake of Christ is our highest aspiration.”

He used to say that Egypt was under Muslim occupation. He demanded to abolish the Islamic shari’a and turn Egypt into a Coptic state.

[…]

He wanted to cause civil strife. He wanted to set Egypt ablaze.

[…]

Are we supposed to send condolences or be sad about someone like this? We should be happy that he died. Let him go to Hell. May Allah exact revenge from him in the Hellfire – from him and from all those who follow his path.

    1. Hey Mahammad, the post is quite clearly highlighting Islamic intolerance. No one here is being mean to the deceased Coptic pope, quite the opposite.

    2. guys we are all humens if u have a religion and i have a religion we do not have to complain who said what in the kor2aan or the bibble cause u do not have to believe cause god gave us that religion we were born christian u can not then come and say that that is not true cause its not your roll to belive it u can not say a religion is wrong and pop shenouda is the last thing u can say and talk about him in bad ways cause allah will not come and ask u when u die did u say a bad thing about to a christian or a muslaim? he would not cause musliem are like christain an christian is like muslium and we are brother and sisters and u can not think about talking and saying bad things about pop shenouda and just to know that pop shenouda is known and loved everywhere in the world and 85% of musliem loved him more then christian he never did somthing wrong and i am sure that god loves him so instead of saying bad things go and pray for him u should be crying for loosing an extreemly good guy.

  3. He is a saint. Everyone who is not christian obviously has been lying to themselves to believe their religion is true. Why is like 80% of the earth christian then can’t you rely on miracles that happen before your eyes! Stop lying to yourselves. But who knows.

  4. I’m a Syrian Orthodox Christian believer. This person here is creating a bad name for all the islamic followers out there. I know many muslim egyptians who mourn the death of Pope Shenouda not only because he was a christian leader, but an iconic rolemodel for both the islamic and christian faith. Pope Shenouda practiced things that implied to both islamic and christian faiths alike. Many people look up to him as a teacher. We orthodox christians look up to him as a shepherd of the orthodox faith. There’s many ways to look up to Pope Shenouda.

Some people such as Wagdi doesn’t deserve to be welcomed in any faith as by denying an iconic leader, he is denying his own God. Then again, I’m no one to judge. Our Lord will punish him and make him eat his own words. Lets pray for this man as he doesn’t know what he is saying.

Lets all keep a verse in our minds that we should always remember when we are tempted to make such a decision to follow God or not whether it be our friends or someone close. That verse is Matthew 10:32-33 which says “Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.”

    God Bless 🙂

    1. Eh, the problem Matthew, is that there are hundreds of millions of Muslims who believe the exact same way as this Egyptian muslim cleric, who have the koran and a crap load of highly trusted and authorized hadiths that underline their thinking. When understanding Islam, one has to get one’s head out of the sand and really focus on what it promotes and what the followers are saying, quoting and doing.
