That of course doesn’t take into count the number of people who have stopped looking. This is what happens when a country embraces socialism, it views high numbers of the unemployed as normal, and any dip in the number as a great achievement.

  1. That’s a good point. And if you think Greece, the case is similar to the cold war, when the commie countries got financial aid from Moscow, but now they get it from Brussels. No wonder why all political parties want to support PIGS-countries just like Soviet Union contributed Cuba…
