ANDREW BOSTOM: PAKISTANIS SAD FOR OSAMA…….

Thank you Andy, this pretty much sums it all up, now doesn’t it? The nation of Pakistan does not deserve one bit of support for its less than half-hearted attempts in fighting the war against Islamic terrorism. They’ve way too many fundamustards for them to be taken seriously as a joint partner, time to cut the strings, and if need be, take serious action against them in the way of ridding them of their nukes. The Pakistani affiliate of Gallup International, “Gallup Pakistan,” and the Gilani Foundation polled a representative sample of 2,530 men and women in the rural and urban areas comprising a cross-section of various education, income, age and linguistic backgrounds. The majority (51%) of our surveyed Pakistani allies grieved for Osama Bin Laden, and a plurality (44%) viewed the mass murdering jihad terrorist as a jihad martyr, or “shahid.”

Islam’s prophet Muhammad makes plain why the appellation “shahid”—martyr—is the creed’s greatest honor in this canonical hadith (Sahih Bukhari Volume 4, Book 52, Number 54)“By Him in Whose Hands my life is! I would love to be martyred in Allah’s Cause and then get resurrected and then get martyred, and then get resurrected again and then get martyred and then get resurrected again and then get martyred.”
