THE NEW EGYPT: COPTIC BLOGGER ARRESTED AND SENTENCED TO THREE YEARS IN JAIL…….

The Muqata reports that Maikel Nabil Sanad is currently serving a three year sentence for criticizing the military junta over excesses and for torture. No doubt the Muslim Brotherhood and the rest of the “young and the restless” will be petitioning for his release. Eh hardly, he’s an infidel remember. KGS

Limits to the Revolution

We haven’t written much about the Egyptian revolution. But it doesn’t look like its going so smoothly right now for the citizens who want freedom.

Egyptian blogger Maikel Nabil Sanad, a pro-Israel(!) blogger has been arrested and sentenced to 3 years in jail.

Maikel criticized the Egyptian military, claiming it was continuing Mubarak’s legacy of non-Democratic rule. He also claimed that the military tortured protesters.

  1. Three years for critizing the army, can you imagine? Life in an Egyptian prison won’t be that good. Why aren’t the media paying attention to this? I hope the so called human rights organizations pay attention to this. This is absolutely absurd!

  2. Just another sad chapter in the on going pogrom against Christians in the Islamic world.
