NOTE: Just think of the Hagia Sophia, one of Christendom’s finest treasures, being placed back into the hands of the followers of Christ. Now that should become a human rights issue.

The only thing that has prevented Russia from seizing Turkey is that Turkey allied itself with the West – not because it has any real common culture but its fear of Russia. Russia would dearly love to have Hagia Sophia – the centre of Orthodox Christendom.
