Why the Koran can never be moderated or watered down, with most of its offending passages being relegated to the dustbin of history where they belong. They really do believe that every word of it comes directly from allah, Mohamed’s invisible friend, so there can’t be any difference in interpretation of it as in Christianity and Judaism, where men, “moved by the Holy Spirit”, wrote their holy books.
Of course it’s all a bunch of nonsense, since the koran is nothing more than compilation of Christian and Judaic texts with a sprinkling of Zoroastrian thinking, that was written predominantly in Syrian Aramaic and other Arab dialects, not in “pure Arabic” as they would like to pretend.
