FRANK GAFFNEY: THE LIBYAN CAMPAIGN SETTING THE PRECEDENT FOR A NO FLY ZONE OVER GAZA……?

A good friend and colleague mentioned the very same thing yesterday to the Tundra Tabloids:

No fly zone? How long before it comes our way. Next time we want to repress the rocketeers of Gaza…. No fly zone over Gaza?

The way the crazy world presently rules its international institutions, such a scenario should no longer be considered a ludicrous thought. KGS

Frank Gaffney:

The Gaddafi Precedent

What I find particularly concerning is the prospect that what we might call the Qaddafi Precedent will be used in the not-to-distant future to justify and threaten the use of U.S. military forces against an American ally: Israel.

Here’s how such a seemingly impossible scenario might eventuate:

It begins with the Palestinian Authority seeking a UN Security Council resolution that would recognize its unilateral declaration of statehood.  The U.S. Ambassador to the UN Susan Rice, one of the prime-movers behind the resolution that authorized the use of force against Gaddafi and a vehement critic of Israel, urges that the United States abstain, rather than veto the Palestinians’ gambit.  She is joined in that recommendation by a kindred spirit at the Obama National Security Council, Senior Director for Multilateral Affairs Samantha Power, and by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, whose unalloyed sympathy for the Palestinian cause dates back at least to her days as First Lady.

More here.

NOTE: Samantha Power, is a hard Left-wing anti-Israel nut-job, who actually advocated the invasion of the Jewish state:

“…investing billions of dollars it would probably take also, to support what I think will have to be a mammoth protection force.”

This jerk actually had the nerve to talk of this “mammoth protection force” in the context of protecting the Palestinians from a genocide. What a freaking loon. This is the quality of advisors Obama has placed around himself. Watch the video of her deluded thinking here.

  1. I was thinking the exact same thing!

I’ve been against U.S. intervention in Libya from the beginning. Somethin’ ain’t right there! Since when does the UN and Arab League frantically BEG “the Great Satan” to bomb an Arab country?

Hello? What’s wrong with THIS picture?
