Operation Cast Lead UN School Bombing

Hamas Booby Traps Kill People Gathered in UN School…….

We now have IDF formal verification that the Palistinians were killed by Hamas booby traps inside the school. The Tundra Tabloids was right again. Lets see if the MSM quickly corrects it reports. KGS

At least 30 people were reportedly killed and 53 wounded in an explosion in a UN-run school in the town of Jabalya in the northern Gaza Strip, according to Palestinians.

The Israel Defense Forces issued a statement saying the school grounds were used by terrorists to fire mortar shells at the troops. According to the IDF, among the dead were members of a Hamas launching cell, including operatives Immad Abu Askar and Hassan Abu Askar.

The infantrymen returned mortar shell fire into the school grounds, the army said. Defense officials told The Associated Press that booby-trapped bombs in the school triggered the secondary explosions which killed scores of Palestinians on the site.

The IDF released a video taken by a UAV in the end of 2007 showing terrorists firing mortar shells from right outside the school.

“Hamas has in the past fired at Israel and at troops from inside schools, cynically using civilians, as is proven by UAV footage,” the army said.

  1. “Look at the dead babies! The Jews killed them!”

Oh! BTW, got any picks of those toddlers dressed up like suicide bombers? Seems to me the Arabs send mixed messages about this “baby-killing” thingy.

  2. Today’s Helsingin Sanomat interviews “Palestinian authoritative activist Qadora Fares”. He says:

“This is no end to Fatah. The question is if we have any more legitimacy and reliability to lead the Palestinians to our goals. If we are no part of the war, we are lead by those who are. There’s no place for struggle of power between Hamas and Fatah. Internal matters should be solved by means of democracy and not by fighting and dividing the people.

Gaza is ruled by a small bunch of primitives. They don’t trust in cooperation and democracy. Small minorities in Gaza and here on the West Bank are leading the Palestinians to a catastrophy. From Palestinian view point this is the most difficult and critical moment ever. We’ve been fighting for independence and freedom for 45 years, but now the goal is further than it was 10 years ago.”

This is not happening because of the forthcoming elections in Israel but because of lack political responsibility (democracy) in its neighborhood.
