Sweden: Halal-TV: Where Islamic Monoculturalism Trumps All…….

Swedish TV, to watch it is to laugh.

Most of us are familiar with the mindset of the monoculture that is Islam, so there is no new story to be told there. One can already predict what will happen when a camera is placed before some Muslims who want to share all about Islam. You get a load full of fluffy PC stories that show just how wonderful life is, in the religion of the madman from the Arabian desert. Move on.

The Local reports on Halal-TV, and the controversy surrounding the commentators in the program. But I believe the most interesting part in the story is about the journalist sitting on the couch, Carl Hamilton, a columnist from the Left-wing rag, Aftonbladet, who got a rude awakening from his hosts of the show. Two of the women the columnist tried to shake hands with refused his outstretched hand.

“In one of the segments, Awad and El Khabiry refuse to shake the hand of Aftonbladet newspaper columnist Carl Hamilton, electing instead to greet the guest by putting their hands on their chests, leaving Hamilton’s extended hand hanging in the air and prompting a sharp exchange.

“I’m sorry, you ought to shake my hand,” said Hamilton, according to a transcript published in the Expressen newspaper.

“That’s something I decide,” replied El Khabiry.“No, I don’t think so!” Hamilton shot back.

The war of words escalated when Azzam Kassem then asked Hamilton what he thought a Swede who had converted to Islam ought to do.

“He should shake hands when in Sweden. If he can’t manage that then he can go live in a cave and be a hermit,” said Hamilton.

“It’s about how we live as Swedes. That’s how we socialize, we shake hands. It’s not we who are the problem. The problem is that you come here and don’t want to shake hands, so it’s actually you who are the problem.”

“We didn’t come here. I was born here,” El Khabiry reminded Hamilton.Writing about the incident on Tuesday in a column in Aftonbladet, Hamilton asked, “Is it racist to want to shake hands with a Muslim?”

He further vented his frustration at not being told at the time that the exchange had been recorded, highlighting what he saw as the central issue behind the handshake controversy.“

Who should adapt to whom? For the hosts of Halal-TV, the answer is obvious. The handshaking majority in Sweden should adapt themselves to the Muslim-believing-non-handshaking minority,” he writes.“

I don’t have a problem with faithful Muslims or others who don’t want to shake hands. On the other hand I have a hard time understanding people who think that I’m discriminating against them because I want to greet them as most people are greeted in Sweden.”

My only question here is, how long will it take before the closed minded columnist of the Left-wing rag Aftonbladet is labeled as a racist? If Hamilton refuses to see the light and the error of his ways, it’ll only a matter of time before he’s cast into the outer darkness by his peers. All that wailing and moaning and gnashing of the teeth awaits him, especially the gnashing of teeth. KGS

  1. I thought that according to western tradition, a gentleman never extends his hand to a lady, but leaves the choice to her, shaking or kissing the hand if offered, and if not, proceeding along with appropriate pleasantries, which do not include comments on her choice not to extend her hand.

  2. I have never heard of that. I have certainly not heard of that in Scandinavia either…a region of elgitarianism.

  3. You need to read that article again, mister…and then apologize to Dilsa Demirbag-sten. SHE did not EVER state that stoning a woman to death was an appropriate punishment for adultery. Quite the contrary. What she did however, was raise a hell of a ruckus about this program and saying that it should not be allowed in Swedish Public Service TV. In fact, she was the one pointing out an article in the national news paper SVD, that one of the hosts of “Halal TV” has said just that. That womans name is Cherin Awad.

In fact, if you do know Swedish (or know someone that can translate for you), you could do a search on her name (Dilsa Demir-Sten that is) and you’ll find someone very very far from what your article made her seem. She has for example written articles arguing that islamists are enemies of democracy. She’s also written about the Armenian genocide etc.

Swedish Left-wing hamas lovers hate her with a passion. You should not. I’m a Swede and I will embrace her as a fellow Swede for she has shown in actions and words both that she knows what it means to be Swedish.

  4. JACOB M writes, that Demirbag-sten did not make the statement about being in favot of stoning. I have not been able to find any collaberating evidence that she indeed said that other than Awad’s say so.

So the TT has struck the sentence from the post. Kind regards, to Jacob M for spotting that and taking the time to write in the comments about it. KGS

  5. Again, I do not know if you can read Swedish but I somewhere got the impression that you do. If so, I direct you to the following article in Svenska Dagbladet. //

That article is written by Dilsa demirbag-Sten. It is SHE that points out that Cherin Awad had stated that stoning a woman to death was appropriate punishment for adultery.

If you read that article more closely you will actually find that it states that Cherin Awad was the one making that statement. Dilsa Demirbag-Sten is only guilty of having criticized her for it.

Again, do a search for “Dilsa Demirbag-Sten” and you’ll find why the hamas-lovers hate her.

I can especially recommend her article “Hatets röster” that she wrote for Expressen. (horrible paper but great article)

Again of course, if you do read Swedish. The address to that article is //

The sad state of affairs is – I don’t know if she could have gotten away with writing such had she not been an immigrant herself. She’d probably been labeled Sionist-facist or some such. Some of the Hate-ideologists probably still do.
