News cast: “Peggy Joseph took her daughter out of school early Wednesday for this, her emotions ran high following an Obama speech:
Peggy Joseph: “It was the most memorable time of my life. I, I..eh, it was a touching moment.
Peggy Joseph: Because I never thought that the day would ever happen. I won’t have to worry about putting gas in my car, I won’t have to worry about paying my mortgage. You know, if I help him, he’s gonna help me.
Now listen to what Nidra Poller says about such politics, who says it sounds all to familiar
Nidra Poller in Atlas’ Great Reverse Schlep: Ok even if they want to talk about the economy, we can connect it back to foreign affairs, as to my being a Jewish American living in France. Because the kind of policies, the economic policies that Obama is talking about to seduce the voters, and to get those people waiting now, in long line, and they’re waiting in long lines to vote and they expect the hand outs come out of the machine, like a slot machine.
This is the Marxist style economy that we have in France for example. But first lets take a minute about comparing Obama’s to the South American populists, it’s the same thing, exactly. You promise handouts to the poor and they send you nickles and dimes and that makes you a millionaire. And look at Obama, he’s only the ‘good kind of rich man’. He’s not a bad CEO, he’s not a fat rich subcontractor, he’s not a bad well to do doctor, he’s not a golden boy, he’s just a bit too fast.
So, his (Obama’s) economic miracles are France’s ball and chain, and in Spring of 2007, in some 80% voter turnout, and a 53% victory the French people voted to get rid of that subsidy.
Via the Sheik and Atlas Shrugs for this combined story, which is one of a populist politician promising the moon, while raking in the meager contributions. The man is a snake oil salesman, who is pilfering the poor while promising them the moon, much like the politicians do in S.America.
Watch the video and read the transcribed text, as well as what Nidra Poller has to say after that.’ Funny, when it’s leftists running for public office, the media rarely, if ever invokes the word ‘populist’. KGS
