Swedish FM, Carl Bildt has outraged Israeli diplomats over his comparison of the genocidal terrorist organization Hamas, with opposition Likud leader, Benjamin Netanyahu in an interview on Swedish radio.J’lem Post: “Bildt was asked how it was possible for Israel to make peace with the Palestinians while Hamas controlled the Gaza Strip.” “It is possible to make peace without Hamas the same way it is possible to make peace without Netanyahu on the Israeli side,”
Sweden is well known for its anti-Israel biases, which apparently crosses over all political lines. The ease in which these Nordic spineless politicians indulge in moral relativism is shocking.
Bildt’s comparison of an Israeli politician with a fanatical and very genocidal terrorist organization goes way beyond the pale, even for a Swedish politician. What was the man thinking? Regardless of what political party is currently in power in Israel, all are signed on to the two state solution.
What Bildt is really saying, is that Netanyahu is too vocal in his concerns about a genocidal Iran, and the highly fanatical, and equally genocidal terrorist organization Hamas, and their true aims about destroying Israel. It’s just another reason why Israel cannot take seriously the Nordic states as being rational and impartial voices on anything to do with the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians.
