A 37-year-old American businesswoman named Yara, “who does not want her last name published for fear of retribution” was picked up by the Saudi misogynist religious police in a Starbucks coffee shop in Riyadh.
Her crime you ask? She was caught sitting with her husband’s business partner while using the shop’s wireless internet connection.
“Some men came up to us with very long beards and white dresses. They asked ‘Why are you here together?’. I explained about the power being out in our office. They got very angry and told me what I was doing was a great sin,” recalled Yara, who wears an abaya and headscarf, like most Saudi women.”
The men were from Saudi Arabia’s Commission for Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, a police force of several thousand men charged with enforcing dress codes, sex segregation and the observance of prayers.”
The poor woman was forced to suffer the indignity of not only being arrested, but then forced to strip later on at the police station and made to squat on a dirty floor, while they dragged her clothes through some foul muck. The Islmofascists then forced her to wear the stinking garments. Fortunately for her, she has a husband with some strong connections with officials in Riyadh, and she was allowed to leave, bruised, and in her soiled clothes.
What is also interesting is the level of fear and intimidation the Islamofascist police were able to bring to bear upon the hapless woman:
Eventually she was taken before a judge. “He said ‘You are sinful and you are going to burn in hell’. I told him I was sorry. I was very submissive. I had given up. I felt hopeless,” she said. “
Trying to get their subjects’ minds right is the chief aim for these religious fanatics, nothing less than a whimpering, fearful “I’m sorry” and the bowing of the head in submission will suffice for the Whabbist Neanderthals. More here. *L* KGS
